well i needed to survey on that bike,i dont want to rush into things cause its made in India, whether have spare parts or not and stuff, cause if no ready spare parts, must pay for freight, wait and parts is more expensive.Well after surveying i found out that India mechanical stuff like handle bar and etc are made out of not lousy quality and their IT technology is good.

Did i mention that pulsar have Italian quality please read my post again carefully.Yes confirm there are spare parts availability cause UNIVERSAL MOTOR is 1 of the agent.Bro what are you talking about,1 moment you say that you are not sure abt PARTS AVAILABILITY,the next but i cn confirm the branch behind seng moto hung where there are pulsars line up in front CARRIES ALL THE SPARE PARTS??????????

I think you have mistaken me for what i meant in quality. What i meant quality was there are still some standard in their products,of course u cant compare to italy, you cant pay peanuts to get monkeys. You should know what i meant cause their spare parts and their machine price alone may be able to buy 2 pulsars.

Congrats Mercenery on your purchase! Just be patient breaking in :goodluck:

Well roadrunner71 i guess i'll just wait for a while...have to be patient myself.

I still have 6botel of 2T from petrnas to finish!!! And yes its a good bike for 1st timer to use.

Anyway i would always recommed newbie to ride used vehicle 1st and get season with riding/driving. We will always make mistake..so at least when we have a new vehicle more experience though i am sure with this excellence grp we will all be able to learn something new.

I happend to see at the vara thread they made their own tailored make cash card with their own grp design...wonder if this group wold like to make one?

To all:

I am considering of keeping my RXZ back in my kampung at melaka for good. I think i am going to have to deregister the bike and register in malaysia. Anybody has any idea.

COE expire in 2008 and the bike is still good got it for $800 however at current COE price its not worth for me to renew.

If i were to scrap the bike i still going to have to pay so that why i tot better just keep..balik kampung can use mah! :bounce:

Top speed during running-in (according to manual):

For 1st 1000km:

1st gear - 15km/h

2nd gear - 30 km/h

3rd gear - 45 km/h

4th gear - 55 km/h

5th gear - 65 km/h

For next 1000km:

1st gear - 20km/h

2nd gear - 40 km/h

3rd gear - 55 km/h

4th gear - 65 km/h

5th gear - 75 km/h

But for me, this was how I did my running-in:

For 1st 1000km:

1st gear - 15km/h

2nd gear - 30 km/h

3rd gear - 40 km/h

4th gear - 50 km/h

5th gear - 60 km/h

For next 1000km:

1st gear - 20km/h

2nd gear - 30 km/h

3rd gear - 40 km/h

4th gear - 55 km/h

5th gear - 75 km/h

For fuel efficiency, manual advises to not exceed 5000rpm which gives u 60km/h only. That's what I did for the 1st 1000km. For next 1000km, my top speed was 75km/h at 6000rpm.

1st servicing + E.O. change at 800km

2nd servicing + E.O. change at 1600km

3rd servicing + E.O. change at 2400km
