Burgman is still better than Swing if you had never try how topass judgement it purely bias eg. Burg is lighter than Swing

Burg has twin front disc brakes .Burg is mono shock absorb for the rear no ugly pogo sticks behind .Burg has flat foot rest. For pillion passenger important touring n not pegs. Burg is aesthetically sexy .Swing has 1 plus point is a twin engines.but fuel consumption slightly more than the Burgman 400. Quote base on experience

if u wanna include the burgman into the discussion the ts will be more than happy as it widens his selection...to me japanese scoots more reliable than continental scoots

happy new year to u

if you wan my opinion, the new tmax uses LED headlamps, brighter illum for safety, upsidedown fork for stability (All other scoooter dun have this, correct me if im wrong) Mono Shock and not forgetting the the torque is 52.3 NM at 5250rpm compared to BM because tmax is lighter in weight so you may feel that its lighter on take off and mid range.

Tmax also has the most accessories and upgrade mod parts in the entire scooter cat. If it was me and I want a bike that makes me happy, it will be Tmax and not others.

I have ridden a SWt400 for 4 years. All I can say its a very reliable bike. But when you want performance, it will probably be restricted as its not designed to be a sporty scooter. While Tmax is,

Burgman is just old in design and heavier. OVer 10 years ther bike still looks the same to me which is kind of dissapointing from suzuki, but Yamaha does have a good reputation of having better value holding as compared to other brands.

Hope my review helps u in making your decision for your new purchase

Aiyo. I've rode the SW/SW-T for 8 years++ and I've never actively recommended it to others.

SW is only 400cc, slow and heavy with very little after market accessories.

It is only for a selected few who chose comfort and storage above everything else.

There are many other 400cc around if price is the main consideration.

Get the Tmax530 if possible. Fast, nimble and with 25% more power yet lighter. Very stable even at 180km/h.

Alternative, can consider the Burgman650. More storage, less maintenance (no final drive belt to change) and comes with adjustable screens and mirrors. However, slight wobble at 160km/h.
