wow the suspension response is killing me. doesn't help when i'm a speckie. my world shakes incontrollably whenever the speed goes past 80kmph on a section of rd dat's not well maintained.

 

could b my tyres but does the bike kinda dive suddenly when cornering a little more aggressively? a certain body part shrunk momentarily when dat happened the first time 2 me.

 

well il4 i stay in the north east but would b glad 2 make the trip 2 the west sometime in the week. at the least ur dinner will b on me. *checks wallet*

 

now my other riding buddies on phantoms r complaining i'm too fast 4 dem . well at least until dey start upgrading 2 super4s n deauvilles.

well my tyres r not fresh. but dey look gd 4 a few more months maybe. any tyres 2 recommend? i was considering metzelers.

 

i did take a closer look at the rear shock. the notched rings at the top, which i presume allows adjustment of preload, r screwed nearly all the way down its range.

What are the possibilities for difficult to start? Went Evershine mech told me need to service valves, quoted me $200+, reasonable? If not valves then what is it?

i figure he was refering to checking your valve clearances.

the job should cost u more then 200 bucks....

 

anyway his wrenching doesnt worth more then 200 bucks for valve clearances

there can be many other factors or a combination of other factors...have the bike been always behave in such manner, or have u do anything lately that causes it?

 

Didnt do anything. Been difficult to start since I got the bike. Serviced carbs still the same. BTW why valve clearance is so ex? Heard from Evershine mech that once check the valve clearance the gaskets need to be changed. Is it? Really tired of starting the bike, everytime need to press 3 to 5 times then will start.

Yup. Thinking of that too. Regular servicing and maintainance is needed to keep your bike in tip top condition. BTW I never go Loois service before. Hows their worksmanship and do they charge reasonably?

just changed tyres to gpr70 n i must say, now cornering rocks! after some sedate riding 2 rid the tyres of the wax, of cos. along wif chain n sprockets, n change of engine oil 2 esso gold 4t + oil filter, i've been set back almost $600. all done at looi's.

 

i'm happy wif bike now. just need a little more tweaking. maybe even rejetting it?

Service Carb, valve clearance, change gaskets, change engine oil(3 bottles). I was quoted $300+ at Asphoon, reasonable? Went to Kawa agent they quoted me Carb($80), Valve clearance + gaskets(ard $300).

I need some help here.

My screen is in pretty bad shape. I'm looking at the MRA double bubble however only Motorworld carrys them. Abd everyone knows how they work. It takes more then 6 months(no joke) to deliver. I'm losing patience with them, hence is there any other alternatives to get double bubble screens?
