Does Anyone has a 2nd hand Speedometer for super4 Vtec1???? or any idea where can i get it fix as i had an accident few weeks ago the speedometer button are spoilt. where and how much does it cost.

i also need a new electrical board base for my speedometer. the time indicator just suddenly conked out a few days ago..

 

the base is like a CPU mainboard, greeny colour.. anyone got lobang or wanna scrap your vtec1?

 

new one shld be at least $200++

a new set of speedometer cost around 500++ kinda budget. or anyone knows wheather can it be open and repair DIY... my speedometer are fine it's just the buttons..

i change my spect 1 meter board b4 at Southern, 2nd hand wan. It cost me $240.. but it last onli for 2 weeks and now the whole board is not working and onli have the timing and the buttons can use.. hai.. so now riding without knowing the speed and worst the petrol gauge..

 

recommend to change 1st hand wan.. but quite ex. AH boy sell the whole set for 500+. Good luck if u could find 1. Pls let me know if u manage to get a resonable price board too.. Thanks

the base colour is similiar to those CPU mainboard green ones right?

i saw a spoilt one at a motorshop. the mechanic told me that a full set including the meter board/clock/odo/rpm isnt cheap last time but now price might have drop..

 

will enquire again tmr when i go to my regular motorshop...maybe need to remove the board and clean a little. the connection might be loose etc...

 

my problem now is just the digital time has missing led pixels(cant read timing at all).. so change new one not really worth it..

you can consider changing to after market ones..

thanks. actually already have digital one. but it has no time display. prefer my system to work efficiently. not satisfied when a part of it is 'malfunctioning'. that's why i thought of getting this problem done.. haah, but at 500bucks, maybe not. loz

i got this extra board and it still can work... i don knw anybody will need it coze i change my bike liao... i using hp camera to thake the pic so don mind the pic if blur.

of cuz.. Odo will be as of what the new meter clocked.. if it's brand new, it'll be 0KM..
