does wr250 uses electric starter or kick start? i cant help to remember the sucky feelings of kick starting the legendary wr4..

 

it uses e-start

I'm 1.7(height), had a hard time mounting & balancing on e WR250x.

Mr Lee (looi's motor) said e height of e bike can be adjusted... how true is tat?

yes you can adjust the height of it, you can also get a yamalink (lowering link) to further lower your bike

anyone out here interested in wr250r pls pm me it's only a year old COI....with handguards, bash plate and leo vince/ transfer fees to be absorbed by new owner. I'm juz giving it up for 1k

I'm hoping G-max get the LV pipe with CF tip (enduro sport can) legalised

Ya i know, that's why i went down to enquire.. sadly for the WR it is not approved.. I think the mkt not there yet.. sigh..

I just did a video showing the Airbox flapper mod and Air Induction System(AIS) removal to boost power without any mechanical alternations to the engine and also to eliminate frequent back firing during deceleration.

 

Onces the ABFM is done, it pickups and accelerate so much faster and torquer. At 6th gear, a tuck could be felt as you gently ease the throttle.

 

Its time to do up yours.... :)

new wr250x rider reporting =) I've just done 1000km on this bike (with my delta full system fitted when i've clocked 200km). Since i have not ridden very heavily on the bike, i can only say that the bike feels much lighter with the delta. In response to tiong's question, my pillion hasnt complain about the exhaust, it was part of my worry at 1st but apparently, i didnt face any problem =) I hope it helps.

bro sorry for later reply. I got my full system for $980 dollars. Hmm, in my case, my bike is still under warranty with Hong Leong so i presume i wont be having problems in getting OEM replacements. If you looking at aftermarket items, i think dirtfreaks which is based in Japan has been coming out with alot of accessories for Wr250x because the bike is popular in japan. the only acessory i have changed so far is the handlebar. It is Gunmetal Rethal Fat Bar mid-bend.

anybody still around riding a wr250x? i just wanna know whr i can get a st legal full system(e.g delta) and also are the parts easy to get? for wear n tear do i have to go back to agent or most bikeshops ard can do it? i wld appreciate if someone cld give me abit more info on this bike. feel free to sms me at 98264408 cos im very close to getting one. thanks!
