Hi fellow s4 riders. Currently riding a Revo, all stock. I've been thinking about changing to an LV end can, the aluminium one. Is a power commander needed when installing the end can only? Will the performance be affected negatively without the PC? Thats my main concern, apart from the price hahaha... Would love to hear from fellow revo riders using the LV end-can. Thanks! (:

If you want to get the full potetial from upgrading the exhaust,a pc is needed to offset the much better exhaust flow,it makes the engine run abit richer to make more power and reduce the chances of running too lean on high rpms and eliminate flat spots as the rpm climbs..

Other than a pc , will tuning of cab. Improved the engine?

If your bike is using a carb..tuning will help..tuning is not just playing around with the screws..you need to change mainjets, needle jet heights or even idle jets just to get the best setting..

For fuel injection bikes you need to get a piggyback fuel management system(powercommander, bazzaz or etc)...mappings need to be uploaded into it or build a custom map from scratch to suit your bike or riding style..

Use plier and gently turn it to take out. Use a cloth around it if possible. Once taken out. Go ride and hear it roar!!! Hahaha..

Done tuning after fixing? Always good to tune. My LV 4 yrs plus.. Using stock silencer cos if i take out all hell break loose.. And too f noisy.. Haha.. Even using stock i find bit noisy.

Change it at unique actually...ask them they said since only end can no need to tune. Anyway if carb tuning, issit jus by adjusting the timing screw to increase rpm while idling? Was think not much parameters to adjust unless upgrade to bigger jets...:)

Ya bro the $30 tuning is just adjusting the fuel screw, you still need bigger jettings..in a dynojet kit, they will supply a few sets of mainjets..100 to 108 from what i can recall..and also a needlejet that is adjustable...the run the bike on dyno and use the best combination to get the best hp and air fuel ratio..

I'm using lv aluminum end can. Sounds same as stock, only louder when VTEC engages. I've heard yoshimura r77 end can on revo several times before. Those definitely sound better even when idling. Has the grunt of s4 carb models.

LV sound nice if remove silencer.. And need few mths to be season. Play NSHW go KL will season faster :)

In 2009,its about 350 with dyno run. Done at racewerk..you might want to call them up to check with the new pricing..
