You have to be more elaborate..drip..but drip from where? Can't you trace it seen you seen it and identify exactly where its dripping from.

A handphone cam image posted here would help others answer better.

Shouldn't drip in the first place so..I guess, its not common.:sian:

Normal because there are moving parts that's link to your clutch housing. Its a matter of timing sometimes. The louder the better..good solid material build..however, if you are on the move and there's are noise inside..you have to have it checked.:sian:

Not necessary but you get much great redline performance without stress in gearbox, better protection and with minimum wear and tear and eo cange is extended from 7k to 10k. X-1R is a friction eliminator and prevent metal to metal harshness wear and tear at rpm.

Take note that there are different type of X-1R product out there..mine is diffferent.

Hie BroZ!!! Just got my vtec3 recently...how often u guys change the oil filter? Is it everytime change EO the oil filter needs a change too? Something off the topic here guys...vtec3 has 6 gears...my question here is, travelling speed btw 80-100km/h is it appropriate to use just the 5th gear? I still can't figure out the 5th and 6th gear respectively.

I was dreaming all the past, Why do good times never last?:gun:

Generally most ppl does it at every two oil change but no there are ppl who does it at one too. Also, there are ppl that does it evevry three oil change :)..trick of the trade.

At what speed and which gear, there are no fixed rules. Just regulate with the speed you are going and traffic situation or the level of the road. Just as an instant example..if you are on a straight level road and traffic flow is carefree..at 100km/hr on 5th gear should do. Again..just remember that good riders always keep their ride on the "Power Band" zone..meaning, when you twitch your throttle, the bike response power response short and swift.:sian:

FJT, Forever Success, Chiong Aik..etc. Note that if you want to DIY..make sure you have the right tools for the size of the oil filter too. Note the part no. 15410-MM9-013 or code MM9 for other make and brands. Good luck.:sian:

HellOOO everyone... guy out there...i tried looking online for Vtec 3 service manual but somehow just couldnt find any... guys, what's the most suitable level of EO viscosity for S4? 15-50? 10-40? I love my bike and so does everyone else and I wanna give the best 'milk' for my engine...any thoughts guys? and another thing..when shifting gears up especially 1-2-3 when i release the clutch and I can feel the jerking as if my clutch is being thrown! I did try releasing it gently but still facing the same prob man... clutch plates? is that my problem guys?

For singapore's climate both viscosity will work fine. But for older engines 100 000km above is recommended to go for thicker oil.

As for the jerking is basically ur riding style. Its all in matching the engine speed and gear speed to make a smoother ride.

Btw bro you dont need a service manual, service manual is for DIY Freaks plus its a rare stuff to get for S4 Vtec models...
