Anybody heard of epower friction reducer? Suppose to mix with your eo and improve engine response and lower friction.

 

Sounds like STP to me

Sounds like STP to me
initially i thought so. my friend thought so too. but so far, it appears to improve my engine smoothness after 1000km on my current EO. gear shift is smooth too. im not sure if its a placebo effect though lol

hey guys.. i changed eo today to AGIP Super 4T 20W-50. when i spoke to my friend, he said that that eo i changed to maybe mineral oil. can anyone help me with this? I thought it was a semi syn oil since it cost $14 per bottle. :(

perhaps u can go back to the shop where u had it changed and physcially see the wording on the bottle or ask the mech.

Shop insisted diff mineral oil have different prices. Anyway i checked with Ah pek and according to him, its oke to use mineral oil as long as you dispose it after roughly 2000km.

 

Just that Heart pain coz at LAB I can get mineral oil below $10/bottle. :cry:

 

perhaps u can go back to the shop where u had it changed and physcially see the wording on the bottle or ask the mech.

Anyone has tried castrol gold? Bike feels good for the first maybe 100km, after that feels like oil change is due?

 

That kind of feeling happens to me for every kind of engine oil i've tried...

I'm using semi EO. Usually ride for transport to school & work. Once in a while like 1 week once or twice I will drag. How many km should i change my EO? For spark plugs I'm using normal ones, is it sufficient? Just joined the s4 family btw...

hi im a new rider in super4. Can i check how does engine oil improves the bike?

Im using normal EO only. My bike vibrates/trembles at 6000RPM, does it got to do anything with EO?

Im rding a FS spec1. did full service a month ago.

Any recommendation of EO?

You might wan to check ur chain and sprockets? Any worn teeth or ur chain having too much slack?

Engine oil wise, no much of a different, only specific or personal preference brands last longer.

hi, need help. was riding the other day felt tank very very hot like not normal,chk coolant empty, tot leakin so after top up new coolant saw not leaking coolent still same lvl for days but still very hot so look2 see2 find out from the glass screen eo empty liao.. how damaging isit? causes by leakage or broken parts or wat? anyone can advise. .have yet to go mech, bike in carpark.scared kena ketok here n there.hehe..

Did u check ur engine oil level with either bike running or with side stand? If yes, it will gives you false indication.

bike was running engine on side stand.. i did not check it on main stand.. will it be that much obvious even on side stand?
