Quick questions,

1)Anyone here encounter problems with PC 2 on their SP1? The bike that i am looking at has this issue of F1 light coming on when PC2 is attached, but ok when removed. How to check for error code?

2)Does any of ur ride here has very noisy clutch housing issues when moving off at low RPMs? Mileage is extremly low at 40000km, thats why i find it a bit awrkward to experience housing problems so soon.

 

Lastly any commends on this particular sale, comments are welcome. Thanks, if everything goes smooth, gonna deal n monday ASAP.

So far only Arrow has got back to me with regards to SP2 street legal. Sgp Akrapovic dealer stop producing even the race series. Errrm, really no other brands available for street legal?

By the way, let me intro myself to the bros here. I believe some already heard of and know me in person. My name is Ming, and i'm a very very happy and fortunate guy to be a new owner of a 2006 SP2. Its a dream come thru after hunting desperately for the past 7 years. I like my previous ride of Ducati 749 torque of 100Nm and R6 of 130BHP. This SP2 just happen to have both of the criteria that i need. There were a few Sp1 that i went to view around and i would say mostly are very nice guys here in the forum, except for one dishonest/stingy/irrespondsible Sp1 owner whom i despised (He's not active here). Whoever is deciding to buy his bike, all i can say is congratulation, may the force is with u.

 

I was hoping for a meetup but i guess the community is really getting smaller and smaller, chances are not high.

Another burning question. Is the SP2 and SP1 having the same fuel tank capacity. Am i right that both are 18 litres inclusive of 5 Litres of reserve. Meaning to say the reserves light comes on after 13 litres of consumption. Correct?

Cos i was confused by some other infos on the web mentioning that the tanks are only 16 litres. so which is which?

I just saw this today online :

2)"(in europe) SP2 had a bigger fuel tank than the SP1/RC51 does anyone know if this is right?"

3)The 2004 RC51 gas tank holds 4.8 gallons (18.5L)with a 1.2-gallon (4.5L) capacity reserve

4)Fuel Capacity 4.75 gallons (18L), including 0.9-gallon (3.4L) reserve

Haven yet. Thinking of intake snorkel.

The SP2 airbox upgrade do not have a potential high result return as it has been maximised for the 62mm throttle bodies already. Probably a slight increase of only 2-3bhp after mapping. However the Sp1 upgraded race airbox would have a larger effect.

Even after removing the flapper valve system, air flow thru the ram air snorkel is not smooth. Thats why i hunting for a aftermarket ram air snorkel to ensure smooth and lesser air turbulance. I've heard there is a aftermarket brand of intake package which consist of a ram air snorkel and airbox which enhanced the low pressure to high pressure air coming in. U heard of it before? So far i have only heard of Turnone air intake system which utilized the bottom of fuel tank as the top cover for the enlarged airbox.
