mine 'ilang' for 2 days. found my bike on the basement carpark in hougang early this year and was 1st time experience like tis. my clutch pump, brake pump removed. damper, frt shocks, and throttle all loosen. Pipes dented. gear indicator damaged/ broken. Guys theses F***ers are still at large. PLS BE CAREFUL.

hopefully 2morow, but they told me by nxt wk..ordered my rumble tail light yesterday,...nx wk thurs should arrived to my hse..my bike been delayed due inspection problem...racing fairing wz 1 endurance style light..they nd to find the original to inspect...heard that the bike was used on track only...cant wait to ride again in PG & sepang..

he..he..so far i & MY FREN(a VTR RIDER) test it..engine & sound looked & feel better then sthern moto...they give me new set tyre & chain...sthern, they dont give a ****...they said i have to pay for new tyre & clutch plate...& expensive ....the bike is fortuna design(not as fancy as next to Kianleong bike)..

bro i suggest if u can bear wif ur current exhaust pipe juz use 1st if not go 4 repacking...org pipe 1 side if not wrong is ard 600+....

 

so far i onli found out 2 legal exhaust 4 SP1 fr Leo Vince & Remus both hav to order & it takes 1 to 2 mths.....

nx wk mon my bike comin out...guys, where is the best place to service for our Vtr?...My shop told me by monday can ride the bike, but i dont trust most of the bike shop as they told u dat they have changed a new engine oil....wat type of engine oil is the best?..semi or full?...how much is the service for changing oil, oil filter & plugs?..

VTR2000SP , thanks for your info ,thanks for starting this Thread way back 26/1/2006 !!!Though new to SP ownership ( 1 month) I had long wanted this bike , it was way too expensive before !!!It cost new S$28,000 in Yr 2k I read some past post , must say the owners here must know the speciality of this machine , it is a true race replica on the road- it is not a machine that one can just walk up to any bike shop any day to get one - unlike other Jap sport bikes. I read abt Frnak Y hi Frank !! & heard abt the brand new SP 2 sold by Looi's a month ago in ib fact I was in Looi's doing my SP hunt & saw this SP 2 there , & the sales guy said sorry sold !!! got to meet you too. For most of us I believe biking is their passion , SP 1 or 2 is perhaps their weekend ride - maybe difficult to make an arrangement that will meet everyone's schedule , but I am sure VTR2000SP have met new faces & as well as ex owners -

maybe we could do a once a month SP meet-up perhaps on a Friday evening ??? give advance notice so that we can arrange schedules -meet Macdonald's Kallang on 28th November from 8pm - 10 pm

 

Any other suggestions welcome too

compare to other cls 2 bike, our RC51 only need 2 plugs as 4 engine oil will depend on ur mil & wad r the last servicing u did etc valve clearance & the wear & tear or u 1 it smooth or better performance btw semi & full...*i'm might b wrong*

meet upz 1st ba den see wad r the rest of RC51 rider r interested in. 4 mi track or touring is ok but need to do few more servicing on my bike 1st.
