Not sure if Boon Siew servicing the bikes...best is to go other mechanic to do it...As for parts...go to FJT..hmm best slip on is SATO low mount...but non legal on road...st legal i guess is remus...wah Lalvin...is time to buy the bike..

hiya, most likely this shops will use thier same old dirty trick when comes to warrenty issue. first delay custormer for the repair or negotiate for not much of a logic reason... i will see how, on wednesday i will call FJT and check the price, if the rubber is too expensive, i will head to the shop! i dun dare try corner not because of the tire but because of the RUBBER!! haiz

 

u mean the rear damper set ? i juz bought fr EverSuccess, is ard $40 + nia but dun think local honda oem parts shop gt stock liao, u might need to order fr them though air, it take abt 7 to 10 days but the price will b $20 to $40 more cos i juz order chain slider which normal price is $40 + but by air it cos mi another $40 more & it take onli 10days of wait.

VTR1000SP bro, the damper iam refering is 6 pcs. i came to know that i got to change it is when i got my rear tire changed. the rubbers broken down in to powder form. how did you get to know that you got to change it? and the slider at the rear wheel is stock? cant fix any motovation brand or what?

ya is call damper set, cos i oso found out my damage when i change my sprocket & chain. this damper set onli 2 honda bike model using the same which is our rc51 & cbr 929. as 4 slider i not sure cos i nv fix, think u need to find the correct model 4 ur bike as not all bike r the same.

I think can count in one hand all the SP 2s in Singapore !!! very very rare bike so close to 2003 , Chris sorry to hear abt the lostof yr job , now we undertand why you so quiet , this crisis get everyone !! so how to have mood to meet up & talk about bikes - I have a friend that may be interested -

 

745 , what rubber you talk about - is it at the rear sprocket , sort of to absorb the impact of acceleration & killing the sprockets & chain wear & tear - Frank , rem the Alfa Romeo & lod mercedes had the rubber cushion in the centre drive shaft for rear wheel drive cars

 

Looks like we shud meet next week ??? - best with a little riding thrown in , anyone knows Kranji area well ?? thot LKY says the parks there shud be preserved

You mean the rubber doughnut for the propeller shaft of rearwheel drive? I think he's talking about the sprocket rubber dampener as what you've said, but for the front sprocket.

Front: 36 psi (250 kPa , 2.50 kgf/cm )

Rear: 42 psi (290 kPa , 2.90 kgf/cm )

I can bring the CDs(lots of info inside) if there's a meet-up next week.

 

I suggest Saturday morning 7th Feb 9.00am at Changi Point main road kopitiam at pedestrian crossing. Can enter at pedestrian crossing and park at walkway/pavement beside the kopitiam. Any other day/time at this place is still ok - except for dinnertime. ....or at Mersing:lol:
