haiz, yesterday the failed on me! i checked the fues 30amps, it was fine(the one under the seat). actually what happened was battery flat. tks to mighty max and harresh for helping out yester day . but the multimeter which i bought dun seem to work, i will post the pic of it later.

Is your multimeter battery ok? Check it's function by switching it to Ohms and touch both electrodes together. The needle should swing. No swing, change battery. But you probably know all these already. Please pardon me for mentioning it cos it's basic multimeter knowledge.

 

Sometimes, the continuity of a fuse may still be broken even if you can see no damage/break, cos the break may be at the side or it's a fine break. Best to check using the multimeter and setting it at Ohms and touch both fuse contacts - needle should swing.

 

how to conect up this? i fix the nob pointing to 20 v and black connect to the right slot, red connect to the centre slot. but no reading ley, remain at 0.00

Maybe it's safer for you to let workshops perform electrical works, since you're not certain about multimeters. It's so that you don't short other electrical stuffs on your bike like ECU, relays, sensors, etc.

 

If you've need to replace a relatively new battery(less than 1 year), it might mean that your charging system is malfunctioning. If the charging system is good, it might be that the bike's not used for months or that the battery is a dud.
