Hey guys, couldn't find a suitable thread to post so decided to post here. :cheeky:

 

I'm riding a Suzuki Impulse btw and i've got this prob thats been bugging me for mths.

When on the move, my chain has got this 'tight loose tight loose' sound if u know wat i mean. But it couldn't be my chain has spoilt coz its a fairly new chain, just a few mths old!

I've just changed my sprockets and chain during April period. And right after changing, there's this weird grinding sound coming from my chain but i didn't think much of it and its gone after a few weeks.

Recently, my chain has loosen abit so i tot i ask the mech to tighten a little, den the sound came back! :cry:

 

My sprockets are some 'Sun' brand and my chain is 'EK' brand O-ring. I've heard that for Suzuki bikes the front sprocket is the cause of chain sounds. Issit true? Must die die use original ones ah?:confused:

Was at PG on my Bandit 400P, ya, timing is ok, the bandit does lack that straight line power needed down straight 1 and 2. But I love my bandit, she has been my "workhorse" for the last year with no problems, engine is practically bullet proof and the lack of variable valves helps as it does not cause any complications when the engine has faults.

Hmmm, could be a few problems, maybe your chain is too loose, if you still have the old chain, count the no. of links the chain has, I'd bet your new chain has more links then what is actually needed.

Jus a few mths back my fren riding a bandit P model changed batt...if i called correctly it was ytx9bs...but will check with my fren again n confirm with ya.

Would you be interested to take my entire bike? Feels sorry for my bike as I have not used it for a few months. It just needs a new battery and a maintenance service. You can scrap it and take the parts you need. Just name me your price.

heyz...xiao wang, i just need a scrap bike's front end...so better not to waste ur bandit like tt. why are u not riding it?mabbe u could rent it loh..u can earn also wat...i never get into accident. but my bike got bent front forks. so no choice muz replace the whole damn front end with a bandit's(my bike is damn old and cannot find in SG-parts even worse.)workshop quote me 800 to replace the whole front end...so thinking if i can get it for cheaper parts wise.

Nah.... renting is too much trouble. Just feeling sorry for bike as I hardly have the chance to ride. If it can help a fellow bandito, why not? My front forks are working great. :cool:
