Anyone here keen in putting a water temperature gauge on his bandit? Since I take my bandit to track, thought it is a good idea to be able to monitor my coolant temperature.

Hi, Any details like how much is it including the shipping charges?

What brand is it? Any website ?

Don't know yet. Looking at various options. Most guages require us to cut the hose and put on a special adapter with a sensor on it, perfect for the bandit.

hey skybono, i've been patronizing bikenscooter for the past 1yr plus. i found that the mech there have pride in their work. they deal mainly with big bikes, but they also do entertain small bikes too. As the shop only repair bikes, they have to do a good job to have the customers coming back. however, the cost is relatively higher than those big shops..parts also have to bought sometimes if u ride a rare bike. so better to call before going down. anyway, the bike shop only got 2 mech. the chief mech/boss=apollo and another mech=ah seng(pioneer storm rider member). They were all SAF regulars. haha...really ups for them. u shld drop by sometime to try them out. however, they will be going mobile from nxt yr onwards. the rental is too ex.

as requested, here's a picture i just took today. the fairing is not mounted on, so kinda droopy.

 

Is that bike in the picture a Suzuki Katana 600 ?

haha..sorry to disappoint u desky88, mine's a suzuki GSX400FWS. i bot it over from marco a few mnths back..been trying to restore it. anyway, it has similar parts to the katana 400 also. just that fairing design all different. u interested?haha....

Sold the K model today, thinking of a 600cc bandit. Or something in the 600cc range.

hmm 600cc...if going for naked bikes, fazer/bandit/cbf hornet all not bad. hornet being the newest in the bunch. but i'm guessing u're looking for 2nd hand ones right? haha..think there's one 650cc bandit semi faired for sale in the forum.
