I haven replace my clutch plate, my problem is difficult in shifting down, but shift up and to neutral is very smooth. I guess my problem could be due to the chains too dry, when I lubricates it with chain lube it become better.

Another reason I guess is I'm using the non o-ring chain (change by the previous owner, still very new) and I waiting to replace it with o-rings chain when its worn out to see if it solves everything.

If the bike clutch do not slip think just leave it alone, because the clutch plate (cork mat;l) alone is $85, gasket is $8. If change the metal plate, warp only, is another $70 and clutch hub sleeve(not sure how much, guan hoe says change it too) plus engine oil, the bill can come up to $300++ .

I noticed my bike moved front even after clutching in. And tht occurs only after my engine is hot (like after 20 minutes of riding and stopped at the traffic lights) Dunno if its the clutch cable adjustment problem. Just adjust the clutch cable but havent got the chace to ride yet. hopefully it got better la.

Thanks!

kenneth

PS: If still cannot work then no choice but to change the plates then

Xio-P: I using Michelin macadam touring tires. Expansive but long lasting. Front is macadam 100X, rear is Macadam 50E (used since previous owner-i had used close to 40k km oredi looks like can last me another 5k km)

a lot ppl say the tire is an overkill, but i think its worth it cos it lasts and saves me the trouble of having to go down bike shop every 50k km to change tires. but quite costly la. Front oredi cost me $140.... and not many shops carry this tire ya. i searched quite a number of shops before one friend showed me the shop :)

Haven ride this bike in the rain before, seems ok in the dry, not very sticky as compare to the bridgestone BT010 on my gsxr750 previously. I heard the IRC tires sux during wet.

It was recently change by the previous owner, still plenty of life left on them, wait till worn out then change. No idea how much the previous owner pay for it.

Y-joint 5/32 or 4mm

4mm O/D hard tubing

5mm O/D clear and flex tubing

8mm O/D clear and flex tubing

Cable ties short and long one

Rubber seal

Hard wire (can use old clothes hanger)

Squeeze bottle

Hose clamp

Screw washer and nut

Guys you notice there one 'lobang' when you remove the rider seat, seems like a cool place to add a container there, to hold tools and rain coat if w/o box.

IRC tires have to see made from where 1... i still remember last time i ride RXZ long ago... I use IRC tires made in japan 1 very good... quite sticky on wet conditions... but the rest of the IRC made from what thai or malaysia or indo all suks.... only japan 1 can make it... but i not really sure if it's good for big bikes.... Anyway i'm using dunlop arrowmax for front and back... find it very slippery during wet weather.... but on dry weather it's ok.... still can scrath pipe during corner....:thumb:

Dun oil too much bro, the oil will flings and you will have a hard time cleaning the rim. When I first got my bandit the rims are dark brown, even kerosene also cannot clean :giddy: , need to use fine steel wool to scrub till I can see the original silver paint. :lovestruck:

last time I use the scottoiler on my previous bike, set to 1 drop per min, able to achieve the wet look with minimal fling.:thumb:

Here is the completion of my bike painwork I did myself, I pasted the bandit and suzuki logo stickers I got from Dawn and fixed back the side cover. I did not laquer the thank because I find it good enuff, because the paint did not smurge when contact with petrol or sunlight. More picture is available at bikepics.com

Just install my pirated version of the loobman, took me 2 hours to complete the job. The difficult part is bending the hard wire to position the dual delivery system to the sprocket, all else is very simple.

Filled the squeeze bottle with leftover engine oil and squeeze it 3 times then went to JB to top up fuel. During the journey gear change becomes very smooth gear shifting up and down feels good.

When reach Esso 2nd link I check my chain, both side are lubricated evenly, the oil brushes made of cable tie is still in place (riding @120km/h after singapore custom). Check the rims, slight traces of oil, indicating oil fling off the chain, due to my greediness squeezing too much oil.

The final version of my loobman parts consists of

1 squeeze bottle

Y joint connector

4mm o/d hard tubing

6mm o/d flex tubing

10mm o/d flex tubing

Hard wire

Zip ties (medium and short)

2 x army small black rubber band

Will post the pic soon once I get hold of the digi cam.

Oo pls keep us posted with the chain lube. Today i went to SLT n forgot to off the simple oiler so all oil drained out :(

I like wet look n dun mind cleaning the rim one :)

BTW i found the bulbs for the speedo @ SLT @ $1 per piece. But the thing is its 1.2W 12V instead of the 1.3W 12V as stated in the manual. Wonder can use or not? Just a little dimmer rite?won affect anything else on the bike?

And S750WP, the shop owner told me there wun be any white bulbs. Only have yellow ones wor. Dunno can trust him or not. if u nit the address let me know ya.
