silver dont worry..the wedding part is not obvious...

firstly they seperate the end can, den i told him to use metal rod

and punch in to make the air flow through...nothing is install in the end can..

just punching of hole through..

but they did suggest to me tht they can open the end-can totally...take out all the silencers, custom make a big round metal pipe inside..wao i think like that more power + confirm lounder den yoshi...

oh, i just want to have a straight flow through pipe. no need take out everything till i see can see a big lobang. I saw that on a super4, a big gaping hole from behind.

My endcan is welded to the midpipe so definately need to cut open and seperate before can push a rod through. Anyway, that time got an accident so the endcan actually has a tiny portion which air is leaking out.

S750WP: that time you just tong through only or take out everything.

I just realised something.

BURN RUBBER NOT YOUR SOUL - My 3 babies

since somebody here ask, i will share my experience.

for the suspension arm connector (the one that holds the suspension and connects it the swing arm), you can go to International Bearing (somewhere near serangoon). http://www.intbearing.com.sg to get the pin bearings. i got mine for about $16 (3pc) w GST. Unfortunately, for one piece it didn't have stock, so went down to Mah Motorparts and Jeffery got a second one. bought it for $2.

As for the 'bush' (total 3 pcs), i bought it at Mah Motorparts for $40, but i think if you go to Guan Hoe or KS, might be cheaper. I don't know. In any case, if the 'bush' are not worn, don't have to change. Mine got badly damaged by last owner when i bought it, since the pin bearing are also badly worn out.

After that, what you can do is, bring all these parts to JB and ask the bike shop to change it for you. Should not be ex, as it's not complex. Can DIY if youhave the proper tools.

the above is for those who are the hardcore DIY'er, and want to save money, at the same time, learn.

btw, my bandit's speed cable broke. anyone here can advise? I called up KS and the fella asked me who am I and he quoted me $17. I believe this KS motor discriminates against individual walk-in customers. If it's from a bike shop, he will quote much cheaper. I really dislike such shops. Even my goldwing speed cable doesn't cost this much ($14 @FJT).

Anyone has comments about this KS suzuki parts agent? I don't have good impression abt them.

btw, i recommend Kintai. you can buy ft(with rubber one)/rt spocket plus O-ring chain (think DID or EK) The last time i checked out the cost, it was about $125. everything in. Then after that, either you DIY or bring to any recommended shop in JB. Should not be more than rm$40. don't think you can get this price if you push your bike into any bike shop in Sgp. Correct me if i'm wrong.

hope the above helps.

anyone got advice on my speed cable. Cheaper alternative?

If ride is one's sole intention, why pay more - choose COE bikes. And if there has to be a pair of equal partners in a love relationship, it's me and my bikes.

Posted

i find NTUC offers cheaper price for bandit's insurance. i got mine 6mths back for about $130. 3rd party only, after 20% NCD. I'm 30yo.

i called up Mitsu, more ex than NTUC. That's my experience.

I agreed there are price differential between shops and individual who walk-in, I believe shops are buying parts in bulk and to maintain the support from the bike shops, KS give them better price. But then KS is still cheaper than eversuccess and suzuki agent. I only goes to the agent if parts are not available in KS for example certain carb jet size whereby they can order parts from japan if you are willing extra for the shipping.

I have never bought a speedo cable before but for your info I got my clutch, 2 x throttle cable for $35ea for my gsxr750 last time from KS.

Alternative is you can try to oil your speedo cable and see if it works if not then called KS and pretend you are from everbright to get a better deal, as I saw their staffs there once buying spare parts.

Just to share with you, ntuc will take a much longer time to process your claim and compensation if unfortunately you are involve in accident, this is what some bikers told me.

Go universal workshop to service la, $20 per fork, and get your own seal, clip and dust cover ($44 at KS) and fork oil (LAB Putoline 15w fork oil $7 per bot, get 2 bottle). I spent total $98 to rebuilt my forks.
