Yes, from R&G UK. Sometimes it's faster than those bikeshops in Singapore. You'll probably pay $10 - $20 more on shippings.

Does anyone ride their speed triple daily..?

Heard there's a problem with the 08's of overheatin.. Especially when ridden daily.. Thr'll be bubbles formed at the engine block due to leakages from overheatin..

Anyone experienced this b4..? Pls advice as i intend to use mine as a daily commuter.. Thks..!

It's not leakages, dude.

And it's not overheating either.

It's just that they should use better quality heat resistant paint, hahaha.

A bit of bubbling never hurt anyone.

Lately been thinking of selling me 08 Speedy too.

Been riding it once a month and just for about 20km each time...what a joke...

If ur willing to wait, the 2013 street has a host of upgrades including a side mount exhaust and ABS and a fresh colour scheme. Not sure if the changes will carry forward to the speed'13 though

Congrats Trial Sin

The Speedy is a very modern hardy bike which is easily maintained.

If you are a regular rider who clocks up about 20,000km per year, I would recommend an oil + oil filter change with synthetic oil every 10,000km, and depending on the sparks that you use, every once a year should be more than sufficient. Valve clearance on a more ad hoc basis and major servicing perhaps every 50,000km or so just to ensure that radiator coolant , brake fluids etc are all sufficient and there are no unexpected leakages.

Enjoy your bike. I really enjoy my Speedy.

alright.. thks fer the prompt response Throttle.. Really enjoyin & lovin my speedie much..! =))

btw.. last oil chg was done by prev owner in march.. have clocked 5,600kms so far.. prolly will stretch till yr end before i chg it as it can last up till 10k as mentioned earlier..

gd to know that this ferocious brit is really wayyy cheaper to maintain compared to my italian ex.. haha..! =))

another qn.. frm what i read online.. the fuel tank capacity is 18 litres.. may i know how many litres is the prime and how many is the reserve..?

also.. roughly.. based on u guys ridin the speedie.. at which mileage (how many kms) does it hit reserve..?

Thanks once agn..! Ride safe ppl..! =)

I would have to check my owners manual . but generally i would expect reserve to be 15% of capacity. so should be about 3 liters.

a Reserve light will come out on your instrument panel should you hit reserve.

I do not tour with the Speedy so most city riding at night.

I also gun the bike quite bit after it's nice and warm as i love the torqueyness. and also becos i have not much chance to really ride it.

I never watch fuel consumption becos its not a commute vehicle for me andbike fuel consumption is usually not crazy high anyway. I think on average i still get about 14 - 15km per liter with all that gunning

It's weekend, but i dont think i will get to ride it unless perhaps late tonight if i hv time.
