I left Singapore in 2012, working now in Malaysia, but .....drum roll.......Coming back to the sweet shores of Singapore in September.

 

Singapore just cant get enough tunnels - now I have finished my part in the construction of KL's new MRT system........I am so happy to be returning.

 

(For those that don't know, I am a Brit that has lived in Singapore for about 11 years)

 

I am now torn (or should I say spoilt for choice) between a bike for getting around on.

 

Sad for Triumph (for the reasons I posted above), but I am toying now between MT-09 and MT-07. Me thinks it will be MT-07 (money is no issue, usability is the highest on the list).

 

Yes! Good memory! LOL and yes I am also aware that you are coming back here. I've been following this thread even though I've sold my bike.

 

I would take the MT-09 for it's bigger capacity and inline3 engine. Since I know how good these engines are. I still have a soft-spot for Triumph though.

 

 

I sold my 2009 Street R for just under 13K back in 2012.

 

Two reasons why so low = bloody engine paint + I was leaving so the bike had to go.

For the Street Triple R, is there any engine guard available? (Not the engine case protector) Also, is there any steering damper available locally?

I used GBR Engine Case protectors on my bike.

 

Never had to try them out but they have been proven on the Isle of Man TT and look good too.

Proud new owner of a 2012 street triple R here. Nice to meet u guys. Just passed class 2 and been riding the bike a few days. Very very nice ride!

 

I was wondering if any of you guys with the same model as mine (ST R with underseat exhaust & bug eyes) have a user manual I could get or copy? Mine didnt come with a manual and its quite frustrating not to know basic but important info abt the bike.

Hope to meet up with you guys for rides soon.

Hi all. Just wanted to know if there is any street legal low body exhaust options available for the current model Speed Triple. I know that SC Project and MIVV do options but are they legal in Singapore??

Loois cheap but not 4 years warranty. Any triumph bought from them since jan 2013 will get 4 years warranty

for Triumph engine, almost same with japanese engine, every 40k km need valve clearance, for parts can go online order.

Going for full cash, so the cheapest OTR price is important to me. Not into the R version, the extra bling doesnt seem to justify the premium.
