Hi guys,

I'm interested in the Street Triple myself. I was looking at the brochure and it states that Cyclenet Pte Ltd is the agent in Singapore. I also saw the machine price is $16.8K in a local bike magzine (Bikers Inc).

how is the review of the bike in that magazine?

Oh man .. I am utterly dissapointed in the price and choice of colour. Do you mean they'll only bring in black ones?

How come the magazine states $16.8K ... I really hope Cyclenet is not Mah motor, cos Cyclenet's machine price is $16.8K.

BTW there was no review in the local magazine. Only the price was stated.

Sigh ............ :(

Oh ok, from $16.8K become $20.4K. That's $3600 for all insurance, COE and road tax. COE is ard $1000, road tax is ard $200 for 1 year. Wow your insurance is so expensive. 1st party? Did I miss out anything?

Maybe he is below 25? And First Party for Triumph isn't cheap either. So the $20k price is inflated due to insurance lah... that means the $16800 machine price is spot on...

Wow insurance is a killer. I'm above 25 and got 15% NCD. Hope it'll help lighten the burden. Anyway it's all too early now. Wait till I get my license in March then I'll look for Dylan :)

I'm 29. Did Dylan quote you 1st party insurance? Do you have any NCD? I only plan to get 3rd party fire and theft. I didn't even think of the GST (dam). Wow imagine OTR is $20K, I still have to spend close to $1K for the seat cowl, bellypan and flyscreen. :faint:

My own NCD just went down the drain due to my sister crashing my car into a tree. Damn. Luckily I only need third party insurance come April.

Oh man .. wasted! Is your sister and the tree ok? Heehee. So car and bike NCDs are linked together? I'm sorry is this supposed to be a SPEED Triple only thread? Cos we've been talking about the Street Triple instead.

BTW which place do you guys go for servicing Triumphs?

As long as it's a Triple, it's welcome here. No need for separate threads where only 2-3 peeps regularly holding discussions.

I service mine at Mah's religiously every 5000km.

By the way, I may be letting go of my beauty. If anyone is interested please drop me a PM. Thanks!

hi desewer,

I got my class2 today. Might be going down to Mah this weekend to ask about the Street Triple :)

BTW I wonder if the Ben you are talking to is the Ben that I know? He used to ride a Tiger and Speed Triple?

c26492.jpg

Yup... same Ben. If you have a bigger budget I know of a 1050cc triple with full Arrow system that's for sale. A year old, and mileage probably less than 2000km.
