You can put some small tools there but not big enough for rain coat or bike cover.

Yeah back pack ... tell me about it ... I've been doing it for the past 1 year ... it's such a pain (literally). But used to it already. It beats putting a rear box on the bike!!! :p

Yea totally. how about the magnetic bag that sticks to the tank? any good?

i saw an orange tiger with a zard exhaust at MAH today, is that the bike u traded in CMYRS?

A gd friend of mine just managed to find a 2nd hand speed triple .. gosh it looks and sounds sooo fearsome with the 3 into 1 arrow low boy !!

im thinking of getting the Zard 3 into 1 cause its a lil cheaper then the arrow, looks pretty solid too plus its erm. officially street legal i think .

still gots 87 days to go though +_+

my gawd, where did he find the 2nd hand striple? i'm also looking for one if possible after i get my cl2

I guess it depends on how much stuff you need to carry around. Just take care not to scratch the tank's pant job. Take note that you need to take it off when re-filling.

Don't be mixed up between SPEED and STREET Triple .. :p

Yah I guess ... such a bike is hard to let go ... my heart melts whenever I admire the bike. And the thought of letting it go will soon be gone

EEEeepp! .. i only mentioned just mentioned legal as the last part of the attraction to the zard 3 into 1 , didnt meant to get on any ones nerves +_+

anyway i seriously have a thing for the 3 into 1s ^_^ the exhaust being legal is just the icing on the cake

hopefully Come next January i can meet up with u guys and let our 3 cylinder machines roar!

Shin,

Frankly speaking, I don't really bother about worrying. Been riding my Monster (with exhausts MUCH louder) for 3 years with no problems with authorities. My Arrows are at the legal sound limit with certificate from Arrow and EU (just that they got no LTA cert YET). So they do not sound illegal to attract attention at the very least. And you think ROV/TP officers all have street legal exhausts on their private bikes when off-duty? You'll be surprised .. :p They are also bikers (humans) after all ....

I just ride as per normal, not like a thief .. anyway I was already aware of the consequences when I installed them. Just make sure there is spare $$ in the bank  Want to be good citizen and be 100% law abiding? By all means. But don't tell me you don't even litter or jay walk occasionally? :p And you do not have to look for ROV. They will be looking out for you instead. So can save the trouble and concentrate on the road ahead instead.

BTW, you got to check whether 3-1 are aprroved. It might be a full-system instead of just slip-ons.

seriously the bikes are rare in the 1st place, and unlike ducati hypermotards (so many sold 2nd hand already!) the Striple is suuuuch a darlin to live with ,i doubt many riders are gonna part with theirs anytime soon +_+

my friend got the SPEEDY striple which is awesome in its own bad ass British bulldog bar fighting single sided swing arm kinda way :thumb:

Initially he saw one 2nd hand at Minerva of all places .. but another buyer beat him to it .So he kept a look out and tada he found another one at Mah

So just keep an eye out and check with mah every once in a while and other shops too .cause u Never know when a 2nd hand striple might pop up!

Owner of the Speed triple must have felt lonely riding alone. i wonder how much was minerva selling it?

The only thing i like about Ducati is the dry clutch and of course the power.

My friend might be selling his 08 Matt black Speed triple with full system.

Will update you guys if he is really selling.

Ducatis are almost everyones dream bike .. be it a 1198/1098 or monster

i have a soft (or hard ) spot for the monster 1100 myself.

its like riding a 2 wheeled Ferrari

Minerva sold the speed for 17.5k (apparently the ex owner traded it in for the ducati street fighter)..pretty gd deal.. my pal was initially heart broken till he found another 2nd hand speed at mah .

Anyway man if your friend is really selling a matt black 08 speed i'll be daaaaamn tempted to jump on it and cancel the street triple ( maybe i can give QuaXum the contact for the striple seller ^_^)

I will be away for most of the next week. Hope to meet up with you and Blackie21 on the week of the 26th Oct. Dinner at east coast? Will contact you guys when I get back from my trip

I think picking Blackie21's brain would be a better idea coz I just follow his advice and buy the recommended parts!

Wow, busy here lately, bikes changing, bags and boxes flying around, must look in more often.

Jagan / Blackie, I am going up to the MotoGP with a couple of friends (driving) so 26th week is good for me, I'd really like to get together soon, missing that triple sound

Vara is gone but back strain lingers on o_O

since u got the price, did u find out y the owner traded the speed for the streetfighter?

the streetfighter a better naked?

Most people go through life following the crowd.

Others think for themselves.

They go their own way.

beyond the specs thou.i always figured most riders hope/plan to purchase at least one the of the bikes ducati produce.

The ,167kg dry weight and 150+ horses street fighter is gorgeous

i doubt its as friendly to ride daily as a speed triple thou

hey guys

I recently sold my 06 speedy and bought a left over 07 Tuono from Mah. Speedy was waaay more street friendly, but the Tuono is a blast once it gets going. Bit of a bear around town...but I have a plan for that;)

Anyway, just wanted to let people know that I have a Ohlins shock from my speedy for sale. Has less than 3k km on it as I did not get to ride as much as I planned ( never do really) selling for $700ono

Also have Triumph tank bag and bra for same bike (the big one, 20-30l I think) like new selling $250ono if anyone is interested, gimme a call.

Cheers

Pete
