i'll be going to hatyai with speed triple this friday..

I jus bought a windscreen for my bike.. tried hitting 220km/h.. didnt fly off lol.. so should be quite reliable

okok.. shall we have a meet up? to share wat to fix on the bike.. haha..

make it a better bike for touring etc.. cos im having issue with my bags etc.. as i have a pillion.. so theres no way i can put a tail pack... the only way is to fix a box.. but tat will affect the handling.. any recommendation?

my bike damage to! but from droppin it in a car park while pushin it out of the rain! =( sian man .. the right pillion foot peg n exhaust have some scratches

all the more reason to change to arrows right? right! . riiight?

 

East side! but anywhere in singapore is no prob on the street ^_^

do u know a guy callled nelson who just bought n R6?

 

hes like my track buddy! ... though i havent been to PG in ages

Went downstairs to give the bike a quick wash. This is the 1st time I touch the bike ever since I came back from Phuket. I didn't even open the cover to look at it

 

Drop or no drop, it's almost a must to change exhausts (no matter legal or non-legal) How come you know where I stay uh. No I don't know Nelson. Does he know me??

 

BTW this Friday I got Harley gathering. So I guess our Triumph gathering needs to be pushed to Saturday night? Thinking of going into Msia via 2nd link. A few Street Triples on SG roads means trouble. Better go Msia to speed "legally" hiak hiak.

Sat can meet somewhere for kopi, after that u guys can carry on riding to JB..

Even if i have my bike, i doubt my m400 can make it if ride in MY with u guys..

yeah! frame slider is a must! though the type im using can cause damage to the mounting point in a serious high speed crash (waitin for the sleek new rizomas to come out mid this year)

 

Oh my friend Nelson dosent know you i guess, he knows hulk(hard not to notice the hulk) ^_^ ever noticed a new R6 in yur vicinity? its his new track tool!

 

and yeah better go Msia if wanna speed legally but must carry some spare ringgit just incase!! haha

 

anyway K.Abarth wont be riding his orange striple (sounds like a drink wen i say it out loud) till july i think? so if the meet up works out, we cruise ard sg better. maybe we go to the more tight n twisty rds?

 

the M400 is a nice bike but id also b worried bout riding it out of sg

btw does yurs have the new front fairin / head lamp design? if so then its the 09 version n not much difference then other then the instrument cluster i think

 

anyway if i suddenly find 500 or so bucks lying on the floor i MIGHT be tempted to buy the new instrument cluster . the new lcd screen looks nifty n the buttons are a godsend

Wah I don't have $$ to buy sliders. My Street Triple is still fully stock (expect for the Arrows).

 

So far haven't notice R6. Maybe because I always mind my own business when riding. I don't like to look at others (in case they misunderstand me for staring at them or challenging them for a race). I'll wave to him if I spot him near my house I once considered the R6 before I bought the Triumph. But as you've said, it's a track bike, not really nice to ride around frustrating SG roads.

 

At night usually no need RM But it's more dangerous because we can't see that clearly. Maybe we'll leave it till next time Can't think of any twisties in SG except for South Bouna Vista Road - which is what ... 5min's ride maximum? Haha!! Or go to Singapore Plaza's tight car park or go to Suntec fountain's round-about and ride for 1hr

Yup, my 'bike' is now sitting in Mah's warehouse somewhere, waiting for me to collect in July. Now i am looking for a plate to put on the street.. and i cant find one that i like. damn!

My 400 is ok at nite.. have done quite alot of rides at night. so far no problem leh. Maybe rider look so innocent..

So if confirm wanna meet on sat, pls put time put place! (machiam pia kia..lol)

Why cannot ride outside Singapore?? It's a very good bike for twisties man! And you can't find much twisties in Singapore except for on supermarket shelves Just ride slower lah? Really no problem one. If 120km/h is unbearable, then imagine 180km/h on the Street Triple!! And that's not even the top speed

I check with Mah already, they have no much plates left. Those they have prices are not fitting my budget

 

My M400 have no head cowl.. thats why once past 120.. any cross wind the bike will feel uneasy.. not a nice feeling...
