Accident at ECP tonight

Tonight or maybe last night? 4 hours ago, I rode my pantom on ECP to west,

I travelled in middle lane at 90km/hour, suddenly a car from behind break into my lane and knocked my bike, i was so scared that time, I felt my bike going to fall at 90km/hour, i tried so hard to control my bike, and luckilly in the end, I didn't fall. But my front brak fork was knocked bent by the car, I horned the car infront try to let him stop, but that guy escaped. I took down his plate number SCW9820J (or maybe SCW9028J), it is a white car with left side scrached on my bike. I myself not injured, just got scared very much. I am not sure how to deal with this bloody driver, who may continue to be our biker killer on road , if any one saw this car, do let me know, do I need to file this to traffic police? what can TP do this driver? feel our biker life so light,life may suddenly gone on the happy way back home:cry:

File a police report, make an IDAC report. If there is injury get medical attention, don't let this bas***d get away, hopefully charged with reckless driving.

high chance they wont take up ur case, because nornmally police wont step in unless their is injury

 

there is another way but u mus be committed and prepared to take up a long fight, and a possibility of a civil law suit from the other party

 

 

i m sick of tired of pple who came here n post and ask for help, i told them wad to do, in a moment of anger, they did,

 

but as the case pressed on, like in a few mths, they grew tired, and decide to forgo the case

 

which precisely why tp, possibly dun wan to waste time n manpower on non injury cases

Must file a police Report if a 3 day or more MC is given .

Faster go to the nearest police post and make a report now.

 

Take photo of the damage.

 

If I not wrong they'll sent someone to look for that owner and check his car.

 

Then tml go to yr bike shop, repair yr bike while waiting for the outcome of the investigation..

yeah, if it is a long process, i think i can not bear it liao, anyway, only the front break and foot sitter were broken, as osimese said, I will go to my neighbourhood police station to file a case report. I also think he is a drunk driver, otherwise he won't be so reckless, mygodness, he directly drove onto my bike, while i rode infront of him. Three possible cases: one, this driver wants to kill me; second, he was drunk; third, he is a psychopathis escaping from hospital.

 

maybe next time on road, we should rode faster than cars, so that we won't be hit by them? what is the right way to ride?

I rode right in the middle of the middle lane, he overtake me from behind, which is so close to my bike, when I realized, the car already scrached on my bike right side, which bent my front break forward, If it was me knocked his car, then my break will not be bent forward right? and even he made his story, I think he should not run away:weep:

 

i followed him for some distance and continuously horn him for a long while, and even waiveed my hand to him to ask him stop, this guy changed to innermost lane and ran away. I gave up following him, too dangerous i think. Or what is the right way to do in this case? continue chasing him? or immedicately call police?

 

and if we traveled at 90km /hour, can we take the middle lane? I did not take the left most lane, because i need to change lane to the middle whenever the left lane most turns to subroad, what should be the correct way riding, brothers? I rode right in the middle of the middle lane.

Yes, this is definitely a hit and run situation. Sad thing is I messed up his plate number, not %100 sure of his plate number. And during night the color grey and silver is also very difficult to distinct, coz i was so scared at that time, thought i was going to die liao. U know my speed at around 90, and there are cars around, I am araid I may die on spot if i fell down.

 

I lodged a police report last night. I have seriously thought about it. Although eventually I was not injured, my bike was also not seriously damaged. But I decieded to try my best to let this bloody driver down. Each of us has a family,

he look down our biker lifes, and took our life as ants. he is a bloody devil which should be removed from the road. Car driver sit on left at the car, and yet he scratched me from right, there is no point that he misjudged the safe distance. He either did this on purpose or drunk.

 

Though it took me a lot of time to report to the police and make statements to TP whatever, brothers, I will try my best to find this driver, and let this road killer down! The report has been sent to UBI TP headquater, and I will sent my insurance details to police station later on.

 

Brothers, do support me, let's work hard together to keep our road safe! Anyone has headquater's email for me to follow up?

bro... when TP take over your case. They will send you letter one. No need to call them unless you have further information or leads... What you did was the right choice. All the best.

I think lots of cases out there are jus shrugged away as unlucky lor, suay lor... then repair bike and forget. this should not be the case... we should take these irresponsible drivers off the road and make riding more safe and enjoyable...

There is a gun with bullets at her waist, no kidding, bro, I better keep silent, and behaved as a poor victim to get that driver charged , I also understand that that driver may make up his story later, so the worst case is the police believe his words and then charged me scratch his car instead! that will be big joke! I am all prepared, no matter what, I will continue this case! I do not want any compensate, important thing is that guy almost killed me that night, if no god of luck in this world, i may not even be able to speak to you guys now. My destiny did not let me down that night, she let me live until today to charge that bloody driver, for justice, for me and for you! I deeply believe the earth is round, that driver can not escape in a long run! (Life gave me a chance, I ride even more careful now. Always keep at the left most lane, wear albow knee guards in a long trip, prepared to jump off bike and roll out strait if any car or truck hit me - try not to roll to other lanes, other vehicle may hit u. more importantly is to ride slower, slow speed can prevent most of the accidents)

hit and run case is a chargeable offence under government law

so tp wil take up your case even if there is no injures

cos the driver can be charge for neligence, cuasing danger to other road user, failing to keep proper following distance, failing to stop and make a report (as there is no private settlement between u and him)..

wat i noe, there are stil alot of thing the tp can charge him

fyi i got invole in a simple accident, and 3 charges was brought to me.. sigh.. didnt noe they can add so many charge to my simple accident.. haha

 

now jus remember your side of story well enough

and also tp io are a bunch of very gd officers

they can find out the truth

so it is very hard for both u and the driver to change their story or lie

trust me, when the time comes, no matter how well you have rehearsal on your "buanging" you will still react based solely what your brain and limps communicate to each other:) but riding slow is one good way to reduce the seriousness of the injuries:)

If I'm not wrong you can check up on the car with LTA/ROV with the car plate no. you have. It takes alittle money though. Anyway, what you did is right. Such drivers should rot in hell, whether he did it on purpose or not.

a van side swept my friend bike, he wobble n wobble n manage to save it, chase the driver, driver threaten to beat him up, wen to tp counter ?does tp wan to take it ?
