Do read up on the forum topics befor asking such question bro coz it's kinda annoying for forum readers to simply slot in unncessary questions such as this...If you are interested in prizes, well, organize a meeting for the event which is suggested and you can provide your suggestions and opinions on the prizes there and then...

real darksiders stay out of the limelight, i have seen customed bikes built with fat tyres and all, but the owners will never enter it for competitions.

 

It's only meant for viewing for the selected few, dont need some act-smart judges to tell if the built have made the mark.

Hey maxmadness aka 35...Thanks for the info but i guess from now on, DARKSIDERS will definitely stay way below the radar mark....Trust me bro after what happened, even if it snows in Singapore, DARKSIDERS will remain underground bro...

dun need to reply like this la bro.. i believe he meant it as a joke.. anyway... if prizes encourage participate then i am all in for prizes.. if u guys dun mind, i could even contribute my services as a prize.. haha.. its the world we live in.. incentives really speed thigns up alot.. and if its all about making bike building more pronounced.. i believe abit of incentive might edge some ppl to take up the challenge. haha.

thats true.. i went in the competetion with the intention of showing that there are ppl like us in sg.. bikes which u only get to see in overseas bike fests .. there are also a few individuals doing in in sg.. trying to kickstart something.. but well so much for sg's campaign for creativity.. we have little green eyed ******** like the whistle blower who reported me to spoil all these things for us..

 

as for real or fake darksider, i entered it so that we DUN ALWAYS have to be a darksider.. i also want it to be legal for us to ride the bike that we like.. sportsbikes have legalized pipes.. vintage cars have legalized licence to own... why then should ppl like us who only LOOK different be ostracised? not seeing us in competetions doesnt mean we dun exist in sg.. coming out to the limelight may jus bring us enough attention to get some of the authorities to sit up and acknowledge wat we have done.

 

when things fail, ppl will always stand ard , point fingers and say " you shuld have known better" .... its perfectly ok since those are the few who dun even have the balls to try.. jus know that when choppers become legalized... x-iled is one of the few names to have contributed to that success story.. hahaha.

yeah.. really been busy with clearing up the mess. taking a long break plus re thinknig my strategy on bike mods.. got some ideas up my head.. but that will take up some time. bcos of that issue, my own bike i had to lay up. i'll be taking full responsibility for spader's k-aos. helping with his inspection and such since i was the one that got him involved.

I condemn the issue for fining or ordering of inspection of Riot's motorcycle at the presence of the Singapore Bike Fest's competition this year 2008 at Kallang. Those mother****ers, the draconian and infamous typical Singaporeans are responsible for the avert of the process of transformational change in Singapore bike scene. This Singapore Bike Festival are useless at its 100% and just serve to be a gimmick sensational gathering only.

 

This unjust treatment to Riot deserved a bigger attention. Riot should be given access to proper legal procedure, and he should not be denied an opportunity of reasons for why he is caught and thus being fined.

 

I have taken this seriously and I am standing still with my stance at my own discretion for banning myself from visiting this bullshits and craps Bike Festival that do not serve any prominal role in promoting biker's lifestyle at all means. Not in Singapore. Leader of Bandidos have also clearly expressed to me why they were banned from participating in having a stall at that same particular Bike Festival.

 

 

Such a big contradiction. Building and customizing motorcycles just to get caught by the Authority. To those who are responsible for what happened to Riot on that day and you happened to read this, here it comes my regards to you with my ten thousand middle fingers to you.

 

ps: This happened to another guy who had a Harley on that day too.

i do feeL u on this one. i once entered my bike for a custom scoot comp n the winner was a stock runner w decaLs from a shop. LOL! not that i was hoping for the top spot.. but i guess i knew where i stood. that made me reaLize Lotsa things.. Like how the audience here Look at things. i never took part in any comps since then.. cos i know the audience.. or even judges.. dont even know the definition of custom. just wrong kinda crowd sometimes.

 

honestLy, u dont need those so caLLed "LimeLight" events to show ur stuff.. u're shining bright even if u stay underground.

X-iLED, u've really done a marvelous job with ur bikes and not to mention that custom springer fork thats like in page 2...it really looks hard to make... anyway, im here to ask a rather silly question but i'd still like to know the answer to it nonetheless. "Is it LTA approvable to mount a yoshimura exhaust pipe(LEGAL PIPE) onto a cruiser like the HONDA shadow?"

I'm not an expert on this but, it is highly unlikely that it will be approved unless the yoshi pipe is made specifically for the shadow.

Bro, i'm giving my 2 cents worth here,...If the Yoshi pipe you got is street legal, and if you can somehow manage to modify it to fit onto your shadow, then it's by all means alright because LTA will only look out for pipes which are not street legal....Just prepare the certificate for your Yoshi as and when you go out riding and when you go for your inspection...The truth is, i've not seen a cruiser that uses a road bike pipe before and it goes the same with LTA and TP....so, they might be curios that's all but in any such ways, just produce the certificate and i guess it'll be alright...Cheers....

wrong bro. pipes are tied iin to their specific models.. u cant modify aftermarket pipes to fit your bike. that itself is another offence. the pipes have to come as they are and approved as whats listed in thier fitted models.
