Woopa!! Cbr1000rr Riders

new bike is like that 1 ah (new as in 1st model bike)...
ask around whose RR4 got their coil fried already... my 2 of 3 RR4 friends got their coil fried in malaysia. worst, their bike more than 12 months old... got to fork out $$$ for repair as BS warranty over liao
lucky mine after 9 months spoil and in singapore some more (still under BS 12 months warranty) , if after 12 months... need to standby lots of $$$ liao... hehehe
but, i still worried the accessories on my bike will void the warranty a not... especially the power commander and the hid headlight...

i am also riding rr4 leh...all honda bikes under bs warranty or must buy from them den got the warranty??

anyway , icekool , wen wanna wash bike?sms me at my hp...

not all honda bikes comes with factory warranty. check with your bike shop for details.

i bought mine from asphoon ubi. upon receiving my bike, i was told to go to boon siew to register myself as the owner of the bike. they will then issue u a honda factory warranty card which is valid for 12 months on the spot. for 2004 warranty, 1st 3 servicing is free but oil and oil filter need to pay. for 2005 warranty, 1st 3 servicing is free. oil and oil filter also free provided you use their boon siew rear number plate on your bike.

for me, i only make use of their 1st free servicing as they only provide shell engine oil.

just come back from boon siew to collect my bike.

i got a new stator coil as part of my old stator was burnt.

bill was about $400++ but i no need to pay as bike still under warranty. :-)

$330 at Mah motor.

Think is water can go through as u can see lights from the holes from below.

But never test it out.

You can try for us.

Think is only ur battery flat.

Push start is the cause for the coil to get burnt.

But why battery flat?

Should be some electrtical stuffs that cause it.

Most probably the HID of urs.

As since Tashi had been riding fully stock all this while, he never had any problem.

But since u dun have to pay, who cares. hehehe.

Just take note, not to push start the bike when the battery went flat.

Call tow truck will be much cheaper.

I think it should be $300+ lah bro.The price came to $400+ because of the labour charge.BS labour charge is outrageous

Chilly - how? did you fit the clamps I passed you for your steel braided brake lines? Don't look down on them... those clamps are of aviation specifications!! Now your bike can fly.

Can make the bike go faster or handle better?? If cannot then not worth it.

I need to keep my back seat on coz got alot of SYT waiting to ride with me. Heheh.

If gonna spend so much... might as well buy Plot Permaswage steel braided hoses for the bike for about $260. Guaranteed to improve braking power.

So what if your bike can go fast but cannot stop in time??
