Tashi, do u wanna order the black honda wing stickers like the US spec red grey?

I think not. I know I can't stick it on properly. I'd rather order the upper fairing and tank box.

You may want to swap the lower fairing with someone who is buying a black Blade. I'm sure they don't mind a full black suit, then you can have red / grey.

Not sure how much the tank box and fairing will cost, should be over 700 for a full set. This was on the 954 ... if I remembered correctly.

BS submitted the docs to LTA yesterday, so next week should be able to register ... that was what I thought, but I got a surprise phone call this morning, the bike has passed LTA inspection this morning and can be registered now.

The UK red looks nice, so I'm not getting the wing.

Like my Apple PowerBook, I never allow people to touch it without washing their hands 1st.

Did you wash your backside before you sit on it? LOL.

Yep, I booked that. Have to wait for COE, registration, won't be so soon.

JusJus, the wings Ken is referring to is actually the Honda wing sticker on the fairing. Euro spec doesn't have wings.

Just machine price is 21.5k.

It's not OTR yet.

Maybe it was the mech taking my bike out for a spin.

Seriously, no, haven't taken it yet. Only went there to discuss with the mech how I want my bike prepped, also to stick on my tank pad, and also to wipe off the dust with my autoglym cloth.

The other red is at Boon Siew. They may have sold it to some lucky guy.

i tot that was u. hahahaha

the bike look nice even without the wing. the red, isn't very striking, in fact look like light red orange. quite comfortable, maybe its the road lamps light.

One of the worst nightmare you can have when buying this bike is to think of a place to fit your IU.

The 04 Blade is tight everywhere, not much space to squeeze.

Wherever you mount it, it's gonna be real ugly.

hehehe, make a battery port for it and carry it in a bag whenever u going in CBD lor. hehehehe.

Monday, I took delivery of my baby. I appreciate Thunder for staying back to change engine oil for me after my high rev run in.

This bike sounds good indeed. I can never get enough of it. It sounds like a muscle car with a huge airbox. Downshifting is a pleasure, the sound of the engine grunting, gulping for air ...

The cassette gear box is a huge improvement over the 954. I never miss a shift. But there's $100 mod to fix the gear shift on the 954 I heard.

The throttle is less sensitive than the 954 for sure. On the 954, you twitch it, it jumps, not on the RR4. Some may say it's not as responsive, but it's a matter of getting used to. Open her up, you'll be guaranteed a smooth power delivery, almost too smooth. You'll need a little getting used to if you're jumping from a 954 to a RR4.

Reviews said it's not as flickable as the 954. I don't think so. I've been riding the 954 for a year, when I got on the RR4 and did a flick, I found out it was more than willing to accomodate. Maybe they had the Diablos on. I can't remember which mag I read, but when they said it's not as flickable, I strained my eye and saw the RR4 wearing rubbers from "hell". But it seems they produce more hp on the dyno than the 014. Well, take your pick.

The RR4 does inspire more confidence in corners than the 954. Every reviewer said so. My first corner made me think out loud! "Those sonuva b!tch35 were right"! Even on new tires!

Street riders (like all of us) will be please to know that it's not as hot riding it in traffic. Probably it's the plastic tank cover. I don't get heat rashes on my inner thighs like I did on the 954. Although the temp did go up to 110 dc. On the 954, it only reached 102 dc. Good news for guys who wants to have kids. Out of the traffic, the temp goes down pretty quickly. The larger radiator comes to play here.

Congrat! and thanks for sharing the info here.

Just out of curiousity, since Monday you could only get your new bike, how come you could test ride on it?

Do you feel it's torque on every single rpm?

A magazine said that it is like a Lexus of a litre bike... wat would you comment on this.
