hahaha, i think its better to run in individually to be safe.

ur pipe sound is nice to hear, but a bit too loud, so might attract the personnel in white while doing high rev run in.

Another thing I have to point out about this bike is, it's less affected by crosswind.

It cuts through the air easier than the previous blade.

Also, when passing by a huge truck, there's always this massively huge invisible ball of air in the front that will nudge a passing bike.

Like a Borg enhanced Blade with a built-in rotating shield modulation frequency, it will slice through that force field bubble like it's barely there.

To quote Hayabusa Sniper's moto ... with an added twist, "1 slice, 1 killed"??? LOL.

Use SPC oil, SG rating. Wanted to use Castrol mineral, but only SF rating.

For fully syn, also thinking of using SPC, cos it's SJ rating. Know of any syn oil that has an SJ or SL rating?

For Blade, manual recommends SE, SF or SG equivalent or better.

Performance is like any litre bike, more than enough for me. I haven't used it fully, so can't tell.

LOL, can't tell you where I live.

yo, tashi, cant seems to find the rating to use for engine oil in the manual.

care to enlighten which page is it?

Why don't you go for the recommended tires for 954? BT012SS or Michelin Pilot sport. The OEM ones no SS, just BT012. ZenBike's 954 came with Michelin. You can ask him for feedback.

The BT014 is good. I'm not sure it's the bike or tires, but the whole package feels good for sure.

Yesterday it was raining, and I was going downhill on a construction area making a turn at the lights after a straight. I saw a film of oil stretching all the way downhill and into the turn. I thought I was gonna skid for sure. I was braking moderately hard. The tires held on, not giving any signs of slippage.

I also that dirt, sand sticks on to the tire more then the 012.

I mentioned here sometime back, some mag said the 014 feels a whole lot better than the Corsa on the RR4. I guess you can try. Let me know how much ...

wah u must be lucky that u never skid on e oil patch..

hmm sounds tempting to change to bt014.. actually saw it on a new gsx600.. looks like a tire thats going to grip well.. was thinking about changing to bt012ss but e 014 is a more update version.. dun think e stock have come for 014.. will search around for it and keep u update...
