Are you sure? Even on my 954, getting 17km/l is not easy. Plus you're riding hard ...

I think there's something wrong with your calculation ...

ha jus managed to find out my 954 mileage 14.5l main n 3.5 reserved.. 200-220km before reserve.. so i guess it should be 14km/l - 15km/l..

guess why i'm so sure bout it..?

cuz my reserve light came on jus when i reach the pump station..

ken.. i think u got to double check some more time than u can average out your mileage.. cuz u may get different mileage depending on the traffic condition.. i managed to hit 260km before reserve usually its 220km but guess that happen only once and i dun understand why also..

ya, really got to check it out man, yesterday, i pumped another 10L to brink with 160km clocked.

20km lesser than last time.

but i do not like to see the reserve light on liao then pump petrol 1,

i prefer to pump when the 200 mark is reaching.

and from there, access how much petrol is used for the milleage clocked like that.

Posted

yo, pumped 15L of petrol from petronas with 270km clocked.

thats 18km/l.

not to mention that half of the journey is with a pillion.

I used to hit 240km with pillion over the weekend when I was on the 954.

Now on the RR4, I have a pillion everyday, so I only managed 220km when it hits reserve. I get about 15.x km/l.

2004 Fireblade recall

Honda is recalling a number of its 2004 CBR1000RR Fireblades to fix a potential speedo fault.

The fault can make your bike show that it's going 25 per cent slower than it actually is.

Honda claims only a handful of bikes are affected in the UK and owners will receive official notification in the post.

If you want to check your 2004 Blade try riding in second gear at 2000rpm. An accurate speedo will show 18mph. Anything less and your bike needs the glitch sorting. Contact your dealer for details.

haha u sounds like you are the lucky ones..:offtopic:

My reading is 32 km/h. Ken's bike should have no issue as his chassis number is just 1 up from mine.

I've hit 7500km already. Bike sounds different now, the growl is fiercer.

I was thinking of going tonight. 10 pm GP Esso? Then those who are up to it, I think there's a Kulai makan.

Just a cleaning tip for owners of bikes with underseat exhaust.

The rear led light cover is white, I knew it would turn yellow somehow due to the heat from the exhaust. But these are really just lightly baked on dirt.

Though no amount of soap and water will get them off, some liquid wax or WD40 on a soft tissue will get it nice and new again.

Try it!

Confirm already, 9:30pm to 10pm. All those who wants to go, just drop by at GP Esso. Then if you're feeling adventurous or hungry, look for a guy on a copper colored Hayabusa. He will satisfy your every whims.

But if you see happen to see 2 copper colored Hayabusas, he's the one who likes to test his bike around the petrol station without his helmet.

er... from the reviews so far is that the cbr1000rr has the lowest hp within the 04 models.

but 2 things i can be sure is good about this bike is when high speed of over 250km/h, there's no need of u to worry about the handle bar.

while cornering, i had never felt so confident b4 not when i was on my rvf then.

the power of this bike is so smooth that u wont feel the torqueness at all.

3 person test ride my bike b4 and all said the cornering n power delivery is smooth.

but if u wanna buy a bike which u can feel the power, a GSXR1000K4 or ZX10R will be more suitable for u.

if looking for top speed, hayabusa or ZX12R.

even u oso wanna leave the rvf club liao huh.

hehehe.
