i'm riding a s4 vtec 1. currently using givi monokey rack for my givi E45 topbox. i've got 2 e21 side box. anyone know how do i add on? i don wish to buy wing rack.. (kinda exp u know!! ).

 

anyone here can advise me? buy baseplate or the rack? how to fix??

You can go to Ah Boy and ask for those mounting brackets for Givi boxes for less than $5 a piece then after that goes to the screw shop below the multi-story carpark to buy your required screws. Then you can mount your rack and your boxes.

 

Alternatively you can go down to Seng Kwang to ask them to fabricate a set of side rack for you. If cost is an issue then you can drop by any metal shop to ask them to fabricate for you. (Don't to ask me go where cos I also don't know)

A note of caution for anyone interested in the Givi E21 panniers.

 

The lids of the e21 is flimsy. I has a little accident when a kid dashed across the road. the bike remained upright for half a second before flopping over after i hit him. The lid on the e21 that hit the road popped open, and all my tools scattered on the road.

 

Now smarter and wiser, i bag my tools, before putting it in my box. That way, if there happens to be another incident where my boxes get sandwiched by the bike and the road, the tools wont scatter when the lip pops open.

 

and yeah, the pelican cases do look bigger than the H&B Gobi alluminium panniers. I think they can fit a small child inside. O.o

Mah motor they are the official agent. With the boxes and rack will cost you to a region of $600. Cos one of my friends just got his on the black bird. If you want one on the Super 4 then you got to pay for the freight cost and installation cost. The agent don't have stock for the Super 4 racks.

The rack is from Givi and not the base plate only. I'm talking about is plug and play with the E21 boxes. This is the one I'm talking about:

Suggest you find out more details first from them. Cos was told by the agent they don't have the racks specially made for Super 4 only adding the mounting bracket.
