My next JB pump and go session will be on thursday, 7 July. Going in at around 10pm via woodlands. PM me if you wish to tag along.

Guys, our nxt outing will be on 19th August 2011.. We planning to meet up and discuss about our next overseas outing. As usual, there will be a night ride session around the island too.

 

Timing: 9pm

Meeting Point: Mount faber, Esso (Very near to Harbourfront and Vivocity)

Activity: Discuss about overseas trip and Night riding; Mount faber to West Coast to Town area. (Riding destination not confirmed)

I'm leaving for HatYai (+ Phuket ~ Maybe...) from next Tuesday Night (Head UP) and back on Sat (Afternoon to Singapore).

 

Will be heading up solo to attend to some personal matters on the 1st day and I'll be free the next few days...

Hi Guys, I'm planning for a Cameron Highlands 2 days, 1 night trip

(Total Mileage Est. around 1200km)

15th Oct 2011 - 16th Oct 2011

 

Meeting Point: SPC Tuas

Meeting Date: 15th Oct, 12am (Friday Night, Saturday Morning)

Meeting Time: 0230hrs, move 3am SHARP

Travelling Speed: 120-130 km/h (I is not RACER. LOL)

 

Accommodation: Guesthouse!

Itinerary: Free & Easy

 

Details on Going route:

 

1. Meeting at SPC Tuas

2. Pump at GP esso/petronas

2. 1st stop at pagoh R&R (Rd mileage 145km)

3. 2nd stop at seremban R&R (Rd mileage 272km)

4. turn left at Rd mileage 284.5km (direction to Ipoh)

5. EST. 46km journey to Y-junction than keep right to Ipoh

6. EST. 9km journey to Y-junction than keep left

7. 3rd stop at Rawang R&R Petronas (Rd mileage 440km)

5. 4th stop at Tapah R&R Shell (Rd mileage 330km)

7. Taking Simpang Pulai to Cameron

8. Cameron Highland

 

*There will be headcount exercises at every stop.

 

Details on Returning route:

 

1. 1st stop at Tapah R&R BP petrol (Rd mileage 332km) Head count

2. 2nd stop at Ulu Bermam R&R Petronas (Rd mileage 338.7km)

3. left turn at road mileage 460km, reverse journey

4. 3rd stop at Seramban R&R Petronas (Rd Mileage 276km)

5. 4th stop at Pagoh R&R Shell (Rd mileage 135km)

6. Last stop at GP R&R petronas

 

*There will be headcount in every stop.

**Pit stops might change

 

Pre-trip checks:

1. Engine Oil

2. Coolant

3. Brakes

4. Tyres

5. Wheel Bearing

6. Battery and lightings as it is a night ride

7. Plenty of rest before the trip

 

For safety reasons, this trip will only commence if we have at least 3 bikes.

Venue: Yishun Dam

Date: Friday, 7th Oct 2011

Time: 9pm

Activity: Gather at Yishun Dam, move off to Arab Street to chill

Purpose: Chit chat cum sharing session about your wonderful ride

i have been travel to JB for petrol every 3-4 days... staying in woodlands nia mah

some time with friends but mostly alone till to my shift work...

recently malaysia custom start to have more pattern liao...still the same white card, then need to finger scanning on both hand index finger.. then they will stick a small sticker to ur page then stamps on it... they when u exit on another side... they will took out another half of the small sticker to paste on ur white card and collect it... and of coz stamp a exit date on both...

lucky recently apply MACS so need not white card and stamp till my passport pages finsh... just see look and go...

will be going in on sunday late night or monday night again...

 

what is macs??

 

u do the macs at woodlands?? can bring me do???

macs malaysia automated clearance system

In line with supporting the economic development of Iskandar Malaysia, MACS was developed to cater to fast-track immigration clearance for non-Malaysian investors, business persons and professionals.

MACS enhances border integrity and security by utilising the combination of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and biometric verification technology. Through a streamlined application process at the MACS Application Counter, applicants will be issued with a sticker embedded with a RFID chip that will be attached to the passport.

 

 

MACS holders benefit from faster immigration autogate processing via access to dedicated entry and exit MACS lanes and will also be excluded from the requirement of completing the immigration arrival card (IMM.26). Consequently, entry and exit to/from Malaysia records shall be made online and the usage of passport pages for stamping will be minimized.

 

Spouses and dependents of MACS holders are also entitled to apply this facility with the condition that they have been issued with the relevant immigration pass.

 

MACS is simply a form of fast-track facilitation and does not act as an immigration pass or visa. Visitors are still required to obtain visa (if applicable) and will be issued with relevant immigration pass. Singaporean Frequent Travellers are still required to obtain the relevant long term immigration pass.

Heard that macs is only for those who travel to JB more than 3X in a month. ie, regular travellers.
