Hey guyz. . . .juz wana ask is it possible to transfer a class 2 bike to my name but i currently haven pass my class 2 yet?tp in 2 month times? thx alot

it is possible... but then the counter staff muz noe wat he/she doin.. bcoz, there is some confusion goin on when i buyin my ins. the counter staff saying and the guy who quoted me different.. but anyway, i got my ins in the end...

the ins. nid to add a subrider who possess a cls 2 riding license... state urself as non-rider... after u bought ur ins, u can go ahead n do the transfer of ownership... important thing is remember to requote ur ins. after u get ur cls 2 b4 u ride bcoz ur ins. stil quoted u as non-rider...

I am still on my way to get my 2a. Here's what I do when I bought my s4.

Download the Transfer of Vehicle Ownership form and the Vehicle Layup form.

Fill them up.

Proceed to LTA with your friend. Pay LTA the transfer fee and layup fee.

If the road tax for the bike is ending soon, but you are going to transfer before it ends, you don't need to renew road tax.

If the road tax is ending soon, but you are going to transfer after it expires, you will need to renew road tax.

While the bike is laid up, you cannot use it (not even in the carpark). You do not need road tax and insurance for the bike during layup, you only need season parking.

After you get your license, proceed to buy your insurance, then tow the bike for inspection, tow it back to your place or LTA. undo the layup at lta, pay road tax, show them your insurance and inspection cert.

after all these you can ride your bike.
