whats bugging me?! my pay got delayed and gotta cancel my halfday off and my servicing. sucks to be a contract staff for a ministry under a recruitment agency. recruitment agencies sucks ass bigtime

Well, if you have been seeking for advises earlier, probably you are already in the queue for a BTO or even due to your wife case, be in a reprocess flat already. But thats already spilt milk. So can't be helped.

 

Since you already no longer 1st timers, or even in reprocessed flats queue list. Your options are severely limited. My suggestion now cannot work for your situation, unless you can secure a queue number still for the BTO, which you can then appeal for a reprocessed flat while housed in temporary lease with HDB.

 

How about setting up home in Malaysia first? A Rented House in Malaysia which she can rest, recuperated or prepare for pregnancy? And if needed, conduct some of her treatments in Malaysia?

Young people are too arrogant. Tell them nicely, they shout at me: "Who say so." When its so obvious in the SOP, they never borthered to read or remembered. And when authority comes down hard on them, they do the pathetic "Nobody said anything." Maybe because he is some kinda front desk manager at a prestigious hotel and knows a lot of cabin crew things, so he got a group of young girls clinging to his mentorship and his words. But at the point in time, when he shouted at me with that question, I totally cannot respect that person any higher, then just another idiot who thinks too highly of himself, but I know his bozz, personally.

 

Another young lady too. She pride herself as working at MHA and I was interferring her, by warning her about some danger. She taunts me with her working in MHA, and that she questioned me that I do have ranking to tell her things. Now I know where she actually works, how her work contract works, and that she can be subjected to disciplinary actions for the danger she involved in. And I still have pictures & text proof. Interesting thing is, when I enquire from her superiors about her or the friends she tagged.....all of them says they dont know her. But from last night, the guy I saw and the recent picture I saw with the background I am so familiar with. I am very very sure now, this girl is one of us, and her MHA dept work is contract base. Should I throw in the paperwork & pictures to ruin the rest of her life?

 

And oh....someone else who shouted at me, is now working in the civil service, not as a senior officer, but someone of my same rank. I always knew, that she cannot possibly work in private sector, because of her attitute. But to become a civil servant, at a division that is usually for hiding away folks that cannot show to members of public.....thats really a bit too farni for me.

Anyway, the end of the CNY is always more fun for me. Just yesterday, I had a interesting fun chat with a NS boy, and while someone came along to make things unpleasant at the middle of the day. That guy was a no issue, because he wasnt able to touch on the real issue and we know for a fact. Actually the whole floor of staff knows for a fact, that guy is always all bluster and no substance. That guy was trying to warn the NS boy from making friends/chatting with me....

 

It warms my heart, when the NS boy later tells me....that the guy pinned a fault on me, but them NS boys found out, that he has been committing those faults all these time, and is still doing that, thinking no one knows. They didnt say anything, but now that it was told to me. I was smiling throughout the night and even this morning.

 

I guess some kinda bad breath I was holding, was somehow lifted off my heart, because I was feeling so agrieved and shame for those faults.

 

And till now, though a major serious charge was still not dealt with, with evryone trying to sweep things under the carpet and that person is still waiting for a chance to come down hard on me on other more serious issue. I am glad because I now know, that actually, there is a lot of person that is aware of what kind of person my accuser is, and is not giving face to that person for various other issues.

 

And even though one in power wants to get rid of me, because I am such a embraressment due to the false accusations issue and earlier mistakes that I have to deal with for him, he is distancing himself from the 3 person that makes the accusations. I hope he does it better, but I cant rush things.

Well, it bugs me, that actually this evil voice and this sudden flare of temper at my chest when I see that girl's picture or remembered people who made me angry.

 

But if I dont' will it be good karma for me, that I spared people?

LOL, typing thse out, reminded me of a phone call I got last night. From a retiree I am handling. Today and tomorrow, I expect to be on the phone a lot, dealting with my retirees for the Annual Dinner in March.

 

This guy who called, I told him of the new procedures I was instructed last night, and that I will be implementing the new procedures today but since he called, he can give me his answers and I will logged those answers and arrange accordingly. We chatted a bit, and he was trying to advise me to switch a department. I told him I was previously there.

 

So he racked his memory a bit and tells me, now he remembers me. "You are M*** right....I remember you liao lah. They all say you very on and fierce.....never give chance.".

 

I was 'teh teh-ing' with "no laahhh......where.....goooooottttt........".

Oh yeah......what bugs me, is that, I am not successful, rich or even powerful.

Well, what goes thru my mind wasnt that I was very SOP....it was that, I keep to my words. If I say I will tekan....I wont waste time repeating the warning a 2nd time.

 

The SOP thing I already encountered long time ago. That even if they ignored me or politics me away. These people will ganna real bad after it. ie. Get sacked, and I didnt even do anything about it. I merely warned what is expected. I sometimes beri 'suay' like that. Darn 'six sense' only work out only when I left.

VC means Vigilante Corps......actually is white shirt NS police boys. They errrmmm....dont carry guns, because their educational level is below 'O' level or soemthing.

 

What Tionghan probably meant for you to join the VSC. Volunteer Special Constabulary. That wan actually got power. Got serving allowance. Must go thru part time training, not stay in. Must do IPPT and so on. Carry guns and they do have a team of 100+ VSC serving with TP.
