usually at night when it's more quiet, there's a tik tik sound when i park, anybody can advice what that sound is?

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

new bike will have this sound.

after a couple of weeks, sound will disappear.

sound is cause by exhaust header(s) due to metal expansions n contractions.

new or old bike will have the sound.

depends on which model.

bro stsoh is right abt the part on the sound coming frm exhaust.

but i suspect it could be coming from the mid pipe area as well as the header.

basically i think your engine is running hot thus the header expanded due to high heat. u can tune carb/EFI richer to resolve it if u don't like the tik sound after shutdown.

one solution is to cool engine before killing it...by idling it for a while

in fact this is a good practise...but most of us dont bother until one day ...when u cannot restart after along hard ride.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time:dot:

If it sounds like rocks hitting metal, then it may be the brake discs rotors cooling down after a hard ride. Put your ear near to them to verify.
