btw wana check.. how long u'll warm up the bike in the morning..

i usually warm up for at least 2-3mins before riding off.. would that suffice?

 

heard 1-2 min good enough. but when i'm in rush, 20-30sec just rush off.

aiyohhhh .. our climate no winter lah so like said pull choke is not abt EO ley .. but more too spark plug and AFR ...

clean plug is one thing but the gap also is another thing ... average min 0.7-0.9mm max for NGK platinum

Iridium is the most sensitive when comes to gap distance to have it's optimal ingition for good combustion!

btw manual book for stock plug is 0.7-0.8mm max.

 

how to check? .. can get the plug tuning tool at AutoBacs Bukit Batok!! price around $5 or lesser .. forgot already .. hehehe

Went to Chong Aik and splurged on a white Shoei ff.

Tried the Nolan which fits better but not PSB approved.

I bought my nolan N43 air detachable FF with PSB approve. Which model does not have PSB approve? which outlet did u went?

Its for phantoms but could be applicable for our bikes also as both are similar capacity engine and no oil filter.

some road user r really f up.. esplanade traffic light forever bus beat red light and some cars are really too much.. wish i got the power to do something to these people

 

in case you misunderstand the bus drivers thr.. the traffic lights at esplanade has a B light for them during red lights.. B for BUS.. haha..

 

hmm.. when i did a check last night it was right on the 'low' line.. so did a top up n made it center of 'low' n 'high' marking.. no oil traces found below the engine.. i usually make sure to check beneath the bike for any signs oil drip..

in theory engine should not be "drinking" EO

the EO is use to lubricate your moving parts in your engine and cool the engine(P200)

EO will normally be lost through leak,thinning out and evaporate over super super long time

so the quality of the EO also plays a part

when draining out your EO not all will come out as there will still be some left on your engine parts

 

the mileage of your last EO change is when or how long have you been running on this change of EO?

 

sometimes the oil is evaporated as mentioned by alvin.. after some time, the oil is bound to be evaporated.. cant stop it.. other reasons might be ur piston is starting to spoil.. but i doubt that is the problem la.. piston start to spoil can feel difference and hear it.. i did my servicing last saturday.. nt much ppl.. after i finished my service.. the bike feels damn smooth... cuz things were done to it..

 

Early morning while pouring, put on my arai raincoat and off to work, but i couldn't start my bike.

Electric start can't kick also can't... Is it cause of the weather or my battery dying or what?

Finally after a while I press and throttle at the same time come to life a bit..

 

needs to the cuddled and fondled la.. early morning need to wake it up.. haha..

if u have no damage n not claiming the other party, not necessary to go idac. but just check throughly, any fine scratch anywhere, even helmet, can just claim. is true tp will not involve if there's no injury, they just make record. so i think in ur case, it's up to insurance how they want to fight it. call up ur insur, tell them NOT UR FAULT N DON'T PAY THEIR CLAIM.

 

cannot dun go idac liaoz.. MUST GO IDAC even if no damage or injury.. in the case if the other party wan claim against you, the insurers wun defend you cuz no report of such things.. so must go IDAC and tell insurers abt it..

on the way home from work and was at the slip road turning into woodlands road from KJE...

stopped at the junction with car beside me

waited for the cars to clear and saw this gold colour civic about 10m away from reaching the junction so both me and the car turned out into woodlands road

at this moment got a merc who show intention to cut into my lane so the car and i slowed down(ours is a merging lane)

at this moment i heard a horn from behind

when i look at my mirror the gold civic is just behind me

if i am not wrong the civic sped through the junction

what pissed me off is that he can see the we slowed down in front of him he can slow down slightly also what or he can change lane and just go behind the merc what

actually i just tot of something. whenever someone does something bad to u, give them a smile, the after effect on them might be priceless.

 

or better still..have a switch which will release sum stuff from ur rear..ride in front of the annoyin driver den quick release(let ur imagination decide wad u wan)...i was inspired by green hornet..hahaha

 

i wear FF cant smile can only show finger.. we shld have a release mechanism like freddy said.. haha.. quick release octopus onto the car... haha.. or cockroaches.....

i just warm up while preparing the ride.. like wear jacket and helmet timing.. if engine still not warmed up by then, ride smooth and slow.. by then shld have warmed up properly.. these days very cold.. so might need a longer time to warm up yeah..
