OMG tempted. Do we usually get 2x Protec v3 coils or 1x Protec V3 + 1x Yamaha YZ125?

 

Option lah bro .. see my chart on the supply current from various coils ... tested by our Indon pulsarian!

 

so option for anyone to use which coil best for your ride.

 

I've tried few of them .. this is my views ..

 

Protec V1 and V2 ... ok with good pick up better than stock (first introduction by bro cookie monster at that time)

 

Protec V3 on both side .. very good pick up and with enough power .. better than V2 (recomended)

 

Andrion CMC5A on left .. very sad as it not compatible with my ride as suppose to have more input from V3 .. very good at low and mid RPM with smooth and fast throttling but speedo stuck at 95km while RPM shoot 9K... which i don't understand .. mybe coil spoilt .. sigh!

Till now no remedy yet .. so decided to pass to fabiano to have him try it since he is more to speed demon.... need to wait for his updates.

 

Yamaha YZ 125 4ss on left .. presently using and I feel more input at mid and high RPM ... very good I say but in paper voltage lower than Andrion!

Btw I mod a bit by installing a cable ground similar to V3.

 

Protec Car Speed Edition .... Super GILA!!!!... can't wait their reply too whether can install directly or need to mod and also hmm the price tag too .... kakakakakaka

I'm on discussion with them on the Protec Car Speed edition ... price tag around $90 so far I know .. still need more info whether it's plug&play and what are the pros and cons .. since the spark is super massive and any adjustment need on the jettings of the carb etc , etc .....

 

now I too in discussion with the Tora Tora head guy to know more of this racun .. since there are varies in terms of the no of droplets per ml to our pulsar full tank to have the optimum performance .. and also the line up of the products ... presently my suppliear sent me MG124T which is optimise on low RPM for daily user .... will update more infos soon ..

Used to have them on my P180 UG2 but had to remove them for annual inspection. Too lazy re-install them after that (we all know how 'ez' it is to remove the Pulsar's head cowl, ya?)

 

Their working condition now is unknown but they were working fine when I removed them in mid 2009.

haha.. for UG2 easy cuz using blub.. UG3 using another type of bulb that is soldered onto the circuit board.. orange told me hard to do and not worth it to in terms $labour time/costs vs costs for clients.. so told me dun do better.. haha..
