My footpegs no vibration at all. Just my handlebar got a bit of vibration left even after I install end-weights. Was wondering if that is something to do with the handle bar itself. Cannot find a handle brace to fit this bar also.

your handle bar is thicker than the stock one?

for handle bar brace can head to ah boy(thin one,he no longer have the thick ones) or auntie shop(thick ones, self fabricated by them) or unique motors(firespeed) or motoworld

Blame it on the hot weather.

Try running at night and in the evening.

Vast difference.

agreed.. very very big difference.. haha.. cool weather my bike run smooth like baby's butt.. mmm.. lol...

@ glzco .. XO is a regulator while EXR similar like your Pivot Spark Earth ... Spark Earth for mileage and torque while EXR for torque and power .. heheheh another option for one to choose.

My spark earth I have transfered to my sis car quietly and after that I asked my sis if she felt any difference while driving ... then she realised that ya she felt a difference and was wondering how come .. hehehehe

For info to all .. Ah Wai will be leaving UM next month .. sad he is a good mech there .. so who came in makes us wonder .. not sure how credible the new guy is .... until then we will know hahahahah

@ alvin .. hmmmm think your bike will fly like OptomusPrime ... hahahahahha

ah wai .. permit expired so he told me go back Ipoh first to relax before going KL to find new job!

hahah.. i see.. what if i install XO plus EXR plus spark earth... hmmmmm... will my bike be overloaded? lol...

bro where to can get chain cleaner + chain lube... dont want the foamy type.... the spray one like the sbf goody bag one. Where to get?? go every where dont have leh...

can get from juzz wheels.. or mustafa.. haha.. chain lube.. wad was the name again i forgot.. maxima! haha..

Thats great man. My trip was OK too. But I think i drove on the slower side. I left SG at 4.30AM on wednesday mostly because I was not able to sleep due to the excitement. TO be honest, I was scared about it and I was contemplating if i should do it or not, until starting the bike. Anyway took off and I lost my way to the Woodlands checkpoint. Thinking of it now, i dont even understand how thats possible - as its just 1 straight road from where i live. Anyway, once in JB, the scene was totally different. Everything was dark and my beam was not showing me the road clearly (I had focussed the beam down a bit). I hit the expressway - then i realized.. alamakkkkkk.. i forgot to fill up, now in reserve. i think i havent prayed so hard before.. finally saw shell and filled up.. (After 2 days i realized that I left my credit card in the machine.. WTF).... Starting driving slowly, mostly at 85-90. It was very boring as the vehicles were zooming past me. Reach Pagoh just before day break. Rested for half hour. Both me and bike were not tired, but the butt was dead. I realized I needed to pick things up a bit. So put on my ipod and started driving. Incredibly with the ipod i maintained 100 to 110. Reach KL around 9.30. Still almost full tank.. Awesome.

Lazying around in KL. No big activity.. I left KL on Sunday morning at 11. My paranoid wife wouldnt let me go after dark. The ride was hard and hot. After several breaks for water, coffee, food, my bike needed petrol when I was about to reach JB. But no petrol station in sight. I had reset the meter when it hit reserve. Since then I had travelled, 55 km and still no petrol station. I started sweating, not because of the heat but the situation. After about 65 kms finally reached Esso, topped up 17.3 liters (Which means, I had petrol for only 5kms more maybe.. THANK YOU GOD)..

So all in - trip to KL costed me 32 MYR. Mind blowing.

To be honest, I never trusted Bajaj bikes. I owned a bajaj in India and if you owned one in India, you wouldnt trust them either. But I got this bike only because, its the only bike that suited my 6'4" structure. But I am pleasantly surprised by the Bike. As Manick said - This bike is indeed a superbike and I will keep it for long.

When i was roaring through the highway at 110kmph, there are some malaysian bikes (what looked like 100cc bikes), casually overtaking me. Clearly, pulsar is bigger, looks healthier and all.. how come we cant get the bike to cruise smoothly (No stress is important) at 110 to 120 and have a top speed of 140 or so.. If the bike can manage that, I will never take the bus to KL anymore. If mj can help with getting my bike to perform better, I may be ready for the thailand entourage as well. But I need to bring a spare "butt" in my bag. cheers!!!

Mine was pretty good, but unfortunately I don't have pictures like you to show off chio girls I met along the way :p. Hehe. No lah, I went up Thursday morning, stop over Ipoh Thursday night, Friday morning Penang, did the Penang bridge back and fourth I think 4 times. Riding on the bridge was legendary, I still cannot get over it. Everytime I mount my bike I imagine I am on the Penang bridge.

Then Saturday one shot 10 hours back to Singapore. Bike got absolutely no problems, everything sounds perfect. 1520 kms in 60 hours, awesome fun.

Penang I stayed in some ultra-cheap 35 RMB per night place that had a uncle sitting in the reception. Then I park bang in front of him and ask him to keep a lookout overnight, which he thankfully did :) Sometimes I think this kind of a place is better than a big 4/5 star hotel.

Tapah R&R I stop to pump petrol on my way up. The petrol pump guy referred to my bike as a "superbike". Actually it is nothing less than a superbike to me for what it did - 1520 kms in 60 hours with absolutely no problems is no mean feat. I'm in love with my bike, gonna make love to it now. HAHAHAHA.

On a separate note, I read about some demands for a Pulsar entourage to Thailand. Why don't you organize one in April (Good Friday weekend?). That is, after you buy your P200 :)

never told any of them i'm from bajaj group, but i always ask discount, most of the time $2 off. :D

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

so you only realise your credit card is missing after you got back to SG?

sure pulsar can improve for better speed...

but end of the day it is still more a superb fuel consumption bike...

there is only this much we can do in SG as compared to indon...

a few things can do

1) change sproc size...sinnob or stock can drop to 15:36...lose pick up but higher top end and less stress at higher rpm...

2) change your coils...

3) change air filter...

4) XO Regulator Spark Earth EXR Booster (haven tried out with this combi yet...now on XO Spark earth...)

But I need to bring a spare "butt" in my bag. cheers!!!

Really nice trip report. BTW I also used to ride a Pulsar 150 in India. It was the 1st version with single spark plug. Never gave me a problem. I did just one bike trip from Bangalore to Mangalore and back about 900 kms in all. In India I was more of a car person than a bike person so never valued the pulsar much. After coming here, Car too expensive so now I value the pulsar a lot :).

Only thing is now I am bored riding just a single type of bike all my life. Most of my Indian colleagues ride the phantom, just for the change. But the Phantom FC is only 30km/ltr and tank just 12 ltrs. When I tell them my FC is 45km/ltr and also I go to top up in JB, they all jealous, hehehe.
