Hey Everyone!

 

New guy here Just finished my BTT for license conversion an hour back at BBDC Will be getting the temporary license tomorrow morning and then am heading down to universal motors to place an order for a new P200. Been reading through this thread for the past few days and really happy to see so many pulsar enthusiasts

 

Anyways, hoping everything goes smooth tomorrow morning and I can get my bike on saturday haha

New guy here Just finished my BTT for license conversion an hour back at BBDC Will be getting the temporary license tomorrow morning and then am heading down to universal motors to place an order for a new P200. Been reading through this thread for the past few days and really happy to see so many pulsar enthusiasts

 

Anyways, hoping everything goes smooth tomorrow morning and I can get my bike on saturday haha

Asked UM about the price this morning... The guy (I think he said his name was Christopher) said the cost is 6.4k+insurance... He said for me insurance would be around 500$ or so.... And he quoted additional 175$ for the rear box....

Yup that was the point I was making when I discussed the matter.

Anyway, I think she wants me to drive instead of ride lah.

 

The reasons for emergencies with the kids when I am home is just an excuse to get me to try and give up riding.

btw if you managed to read up there are some mods that can be done to improve the performance and comfort of our beauties

for $175 i believe is the zeus 45L box with rack

for free gifts normally they will only let you choose between rain coat, helmet, bike cover

i think take the bike cover will be the better choice

for helmet and rain coat they are rtec brands

can join us to go for bargain hunting for helmet and rain coat soon...

better quality ones...

And yes I've been pouring through this thread since last friday when we decided to get a bike! haha.... You guys have a ton of info up here and I am very eager to learn about it haha..... Once I am little comfy with this bike then I will definitely ask help from you guys to tinker with it

 

I am guessing it would take a little time for me to get used to the P200 coz back home in India I used to ride a 1978 modded Royal Enfield Bullet 350cc.... Everything is opposite! Brake is on the left side and the gear is on the right! and the gear order is one up, 3 down haha.... Pretty much totally opposite to the pulsar hehehe.... Should be fun.... Just hope I dont drop my wife since she's insistent that she wants to come along on saturday when I pick it up!

n i am sellin my givi e21 side boxes cheap if u want..specially for bajaj people b4 i do my mass garage sale later in the year. if u wan e sideboxes can check wif chris how much to topup for the siderack to put the givi boxes

I got it for 300 from a forumer. If u guys are interested in e e21. I tink alvin is also using. Maybe can ask him how much he bought his rack.

Congrats on your new bike. After riding the Bullet the Pulsar should be like a bicycle for you How long are you planning to keep the bike? No plans to upgrade to Class 2A or 2?

Ah well, All my past bikes were used bikes since I used to be really into classic bikes.... So this time wanna get a totally brand new one and feel the "new-bike" experience..... if there is such a thing! haha
