Personally i have installed this VM in my fren's car before the wire is long enuff.

 

however there is something those interested should take note...

This VM is not as responsive as the autogauge ones.

The readings have quite an obvious lag

 

Please note. how usually shops connect this VM will only reflect if the charging system is working. It will not reflect whether the fault is either the battery or rectifier if the system suddenly doesn't charge.

 

point noted... regarding the installation, we doing to do it on the diy session together with the hazad light. I think where we connect is also a important factor on the reading. but than, where to connect the point is already being set.

u guys knw anywhere is good for me to learn parking? I kept havving problems parking.. and also the parking slot at my place are on slopes mostly.. those on flat ground are usually taken..

are u parking in mscp? just go up 1-2 level more?

 

anyway if it's on a slight slope, dismount ur bike and push into the lot? should be easier for you than to ride into the lot, then becos of the uneven ground, you cant reach the ground.

nope.. mine is not a mscp.. normal open carpark.. but it's slope everywhere..

I dun really consider it as a slight slope.. when i park it to side stand n try to adjust it.. to fit in the lot better.. the whole bike almost roll off..

 

i wonder where is safe to practise parking.. i needa learn to park backside in so that it' easier to come out..

OH MY god..... are u hurt ? bike damage is ok... is all part of learning process...

IMHO, try not to park under ur block... cause is a down slope. down slope parking is best if u engage first gear than cease ur engine. in this method u can control better using the clutch lever. ...... hmmmmmmm

 

I notice that there is a flat ground just a couple of block away. Till u can control the bike than u park under ur block.

 

U cannot kick start is because once the bike fall, ur carburetor will be overflow. wait for a few minute that E-start. should be no problem.
