you can just go to any key maker to dupicate it

if you go UM they only sell the un cut keys

so you need to go find the key maker to duplicate also

 

better than transponder, saw someone posted he changed the lock to the hexgon key.

I already have 2 versions of the same helmet model and it fits me really well, I'm comfortable riding with it, and most importantly it fits my bike's colors So for now, I'm good on the helmet side ! [Edit: just checked it out, pretty slick designs ! Especially the phoenix ones....*must resist* *must resist*]

And yeah like Alvin said our Pulsar keys don't have a transponder in them - what are you, an ex Ducati rider or something ?

Can you guys recommend a shop to get my bike key copied ? I went to one of those normal key-shoe store you know, at the basement of malls ? He said he couldn't copy it. Where could I go ?

that day when I visit ah boy.. they told me no stock yet .. so I went to regina to have a look .. they showed me but it looks different from the webbie .... it's plain with no sun visor!! ...

is that the one that you all intend to get? ... oh they showed me the grey one and if yes that's the one ... they qouted me $180 !!! .... just fyi .. lol

btw, dont worry too much if u lost ur key, unless u carve ur plate num there all bike/car key r almost alike, that day i also saw a car/bike key at my place, which i dont even know which car/bike it belongs. nobody is that free to try all the bikes, it's way easier to pick or jack ur lock.

yes, we're looking at the non sun visor version. cos it's already snell n psb approved. r u sure u saw the correct one? cos like got an older version which is not we r looking 4, the one we want is same as the web i posted, xcept no visor.

 

the sun visor version i heard is not snell approved, but dot only. but duno who tell me also snell. also it might not be psb cos of the clip. so if u're ok with the added weight n non-psb n prob non-snell, then it's a good choice. however ah boy n regina does not have stock on this.

bukit timah (forgot which shopping ctr) there got 1 shop he got a lot of key base, if he dont have, i doubt can find anywhere else.

kelantan that area specialize in bike keys.

erm i dont know where u got ur info, but webbike says sun visor aka ver A & B, is dot n ecs only. only the 3000 is snell. it's due to the sun visor which they had to sacrifice some parts. however some ppl got diff opinions about snell.

 

as for konda vs zeus, it's the cost vs versitile.

imo, zeus is good for glass friendly, lower price, can be changed

konda, can put in comm device, more ex, sun shade, lighter (but note it's full face compare, after zeus convert, it might be lighter)

 

each has it's good n bad, but we all getting from the same shop, so really doesn't matter

i'll get back to you by the end of the week. or better yet, for the time being, don't count my name in. With the SNELL, its one up from the HJC flipups, and cheaper too. Though I need to try one out for fitting. This helmet should follow the American sizing system, dont want to make an order for a helmet thats a size too big.
