Good thing I went to ask and let them test, is actually not much difference with or without dB killer, just a bit more beefier sound and is still within exhaust noise spec in singapore, also some repo

Retail therapy by me:

 

Went to HTH to rewrap seat

 

Before

Cost: 30$

 

I would say workmanship and quality of material is quite average only.

 

Also, my battery side cover lock was damaged. Got an after market lock from them customised to fit the bike. Cost: 15$.

So total damage 45$. :)

 

You could have chosen a slightly better material. Cost maybe $5 more but will bring a whole new look to the bike.

I was using the same material from a shop near my place as what you have now. It doesn't shape the seat as well as I would like it to be.

 

So ended up I went to HTH and asked them to redo it for me.

Wa you should have done some image diary so we can look look see see. Acetone is also available.. In nail polish removers haha. But pure ones hard to find.

 

 

 

Will the stickers come off? Covered the Kawasaki on the sides too. Bought soft 99 yesterday for our Tiger..

 

Use RP71 to remove sticker stains. This does not harm paint work. Mustafs sells small bottle.

Sounds good. Normally I use just scotch tape to tape out the sticker stains and then just slowly rub them off with a soft wet sponge or lighter fluid.

Ok, I have managed to remove my logo without leaving too much damage. You can get pure Acetone from Watson to slowly dissolve the superglue residue left behind by the logo (You can't leave it on the paint too long as it will dissolve paint also). The Acetone is quite hard to find in small bottles, only managed to get one from the Watson at Nex. Or else you can get the industrial grade Acetone from any hardware shop.

 

You may get some white stains from using the Acetone but it can be polish off afterwards.

but the issue is not removing the sticker residue.. the sticker (and the whole of tank) has an over lay of either clear quote or something else over it..to get to the sticker 1st u need to remove the quoting and then comes the logo.. seems like a tedious job.. this is to my humble understanding

i wana peel off the sticker do a carbon fibre wrapping (including the rest of the bike) then put pulsar logo on it.. :p

The logo started peeling off due to the constant polishing and waxing... To make it easier, I just took off the decal...

along corporation road slightly flood above ankle as the drain along the road cannot hold the heavy down pour ... me riding all the way SMILING and LAUGHING like a kid !! ... kakakaa

Today at HTH, I saw a Yamaha XJR 400(a look alike of super 4) had the headlight of a Pulsar UG2. :thumb:

Pulsar 3d logo only about 9 bucks each side. The pulsar word itself think about 25 per side. Very exp.
