It's bloody expensive too, new it's about 19-20k I think. But I've read about it quite a bit and it seems to be a very reliable bike for long trips, with a decent FC for its category.

 

Yup bought in [email protected] away in 2010

 

most 600cc have good fc..dun include the sportsbikes in. 1 ting abt kawa..parts are not readily available n are more ex..bt if u like the exclusiveness of ownin a kawa..y not :D

 

Blame it on the distro hehehe...Neva got chance to chg parts :smile:

Good thing I went to ask and let them test, is actually not much difference with or without dB killer, just a bit more beefier sound and is still within exhaust noise spec in singapore, also some repo

and for the rubber on exhaust .. yes for protection during fall but how effective .. i don't know .. kekekeke

ah boy selling it at $15 dollars. will get arm sock (again) too. haha. but careful with the thing cos mine is slowly cracking after using it for 6 months so far.

 

and helmet lock for $10?????

i installed mine at UM in the beginning of the year for $35, like what dejaxxx said!

 

but they gave me those thick brackets, bend it outwards abit, and installed it at the bolt connected to the left rear suspension. workmanship and quality of material, worth the $35 lah. no problem while riding from tamp to jurong with a helmet hooked on it. but want to "selit", must be careful. if not when you bang to other vehicle, must pay for damage, and new helmet! huahuahua. :D

for $35 with add on bracket is ok lah for $35 ... and seriously for riding with spare helmet i prefer to use bungee net helmet on rear or tank .. much safer during ride and prevent unnecessary scratches on helemt n body paint ...

 

but bungee net make sure elastic one lah not like hmmmmm dat bungee net!!!!! .... kakakakaka

haha. no lah, mobilenerd.. i'm just saying that that time i bought the helmet lock, they gave free arm sock. last week i bought helmet, they give also. like happy meal. but i'm not complaining. :)

 

anyway, anyone selling ff domo? feel like buying one. nbk? :p

Situation:

I juz replace my new spark plugs. Tested them werking by pluging one Spark plug at a tim and both at the same time. However when testing the right hand plug only, the throttling got stuck2 abit like pom......pom.......idling was ok thou. left hand and both plug testing was ok thou

 

Question:

izit normal for the right side to be like that? plug are new. or izit bcoz the combustion isnt comple that is why the pom...pom came out....

As far as I can remember the right should follow the exhaust stroke only...ie when it reach exhaust stroke it spark once only

BTW, I called up one of the K&N distributors; Sporting motors. I gave him the part number and the guy said they dont have stock now but it will arrive on thursday. Not sure if he serious of just bluffing. Hmm.

cause if they bring in a batch but not a lot of ppl buy then they will have lots of stock on hand collecting dust...

from what i see likely are us here will go get if they bring in which i guess is about 30+ ppl from the name list...

which is a very very small number for them...

Asked him the pricing too, he just put me on hold and then came back and said that they dont have price list for it and he will know it when the stock comes :dozed:
