should be $100+++ coz they need to open up ur engine and all, put new gasket, o-ring diz n dat, labour charge blah blah blah.. may reach $200+++

u should check whether ur bike got anywhere leaking anot...

not yet had a chance, i think the jaywalkers, i won't hesitate, those bugger deserve what's coming to them. would love to see the look on their faces. :cheeky: but for the oldies, i think better not sia, sekali later heart attack, fall in front of bike, kena run over, then get charged. haha.

yea man, street triple R! haven't seen any in SG yet, but seen 3 speed triples already. love the sound of the engine man.

yeah, i meet strangers n cute girls along d way. im trying to cover the coastal area on d west n east slowy den go for the waterfalls. after dat, into d jungle. im still learning though.

wana try. dat time, i try going into a soft sand near d beach n i almost fell. no friction, need 2 realy handle slowly. which means road bikes arnt suitable. haaizzz....:sian::sian:

Last night test ride my new toy, power sia but still not familar when is the right rpm to change gear. But its really hot on the engine at all time (low or high speed).

Ur spec 1 so no fuel cork. so when riding straight, the last fuel bar, better pump already dun wan til the bar starts to run.

Servicing is 5000km or 3mths not like pulsar 1 mth or 2500km.

Watch out for ur coolant. imho, the coolant is the most impt substance in big bikes.

Not sure why my S4 engine is that hot, or most big bike engine is like that, must I using speacial coolant to solve this "problem". Or I just need to get use to it.

Another thing is when I brake, I can feels pulses on the front end (not smooth) is there problem on my front forts?

1 pc rain coat got c b4 in m'sia. cheap cheap less than rm10 i think, the material very thin, perhaps if very heavy rain still will get wet.

 

i think u get a big plastic sheet cut 1 hole 4 ur head about the same, only not very nice. :angel:

 

btw i went ah boy a few weeks ago to scout new rain coat, didnt c any 1pc 1, all 2pc, finally bot 1 luminous yellow at $35, they said those normal 1 @ $30.

The heat is normal. I would suggest u use Water wetter / engine ice but very ex hahaha. another gd coolant is the shell coolant - ok and gd.

for dunlop 100/80, the price is RM130 which i changed sometime ago. as for now, last i ask was at RM135. and michelin was RM145 which i just bought to try try only.

 

last mth i change my dunlop tire that bike shop say "rubber price nw is sky high nw, he don even to take more than 2 dunlop tires and 3 Duro tires in".

ya s4 is normally that hot.. class 2 bike more hot and normally sportbikes r more hot than street bikes, as is full fairing [i guess].

 

abt the ur brake problem, i think maybe is ur brake dics got into accident or smt. check ur dics 1st. i guessing only

that 1 is for india... for the pillion to place both feet on it. (i think la)

sorry, quite noob about this also, but what's the tell tale sign that batt is dead?

 

as for the spocket, if you are riding UG3 or P200, i think you can change it almost anywhere. you ask people about best deal here, sure tell you go jb 1. but if you riding UG2, then need to go back to UM and get their rear spocket.
