just some sharing from the last 2 days

on thurs morning when i on my way to duty saw this uncle riding a wave along sungei tengah road there

i think he jam break and the gound was wet(due to rain in the wee hours) and his wheel lock then he fell down in the middle of the road

he just sit there dazed and stunted at what just happened

nobody stop to help him

i did not stop also cause already running late for reporting for duty

hope he is fine(feeling abit guilty now )

then this morning while riding to attend x'mas service i just let my concentration go off for about 2 sec and by then i realise the car in front of me had stopped

had to react fast and jam break and swerve to the next lane to avoid hitting it

skidded abit but lucky managed to counter

what a way to start x'mas day

Cookie_Monster, I hope you're feeling better. Not a good feeling to read about what happened to you, but thank you for sharing with us. People, please GEAR UP before riding !

 

There are things that can hardly be prevented (yes, some may say you can pay attention and see the oil trace, some may say be careful when it rains etc.. but at the end of the day, you can never be 150% aware all the time!), and in those cases, what is left ? yes, YOUR GEAR !

 

Please guys, don't overlook it. No matter what kind of driver your are, sh&t happens! A jacket with the appropriate protective paddings will save your skin and bones. A pair of boots will save your ankles and feet. Protective pants will spare your legs from abrasions and will protect your knees. And don't forget the gloves! (I suppose everyone already knows about the FULL FACE helmet ).

 

Seriously, if you think you don't need the gear, or you're a good rider and are careful enough, if you think it's too troublesome and you don't have the money for it or you don't want to carry it around every time you ride your bike, THINK AGAIN.

 

You can be more safety conscious, bit by bit: for Christmas, ask your loved ones to buy you gloves for your bike or a jacket, instead of a PS3 or whatever-it-is-that-you-boys-want-for-Xmas Think about it, and DO IT!

 

Cookie, I'm glad you're feeling ok and nothing major happened to you. I'm not gonna say the bike doesn't matter, because once a rider is ok after an accident, the first thought goes to the bike and we start worrying, right ? So it's ok to worry about it, keep us posted on how much damage there's on it.

Atom power is marketed currently by LFI solely (the chinese shld know this company by the "Pai Du Mei Yuan Bao" lol) by my frens too nw. Some say really works lah. But pulsar one has to try before knowing lo.

Haha... This product tested by PSB (Singapore) on this Audi car and it can achieved a 35% reduction of fuel consumtion and reduce of 55% improvement of fuel efficiency.. I check with my friend liao he say if u feel no improvement of your bike he can refund you another bottle if u haven open.. As for my bike can achieved that great result.. I was shock to see this result also, it should work about the same ba seen we all ride pulsar..
