I really dun understand wat's with this obsession with the top speed? U're not gonna cruise at the top speed rite? Even if u want to, the traffic condition in SG doesn't allow u to.

 

Anyway, top speed for P180 is 127 km/h according to manual. Real life, more like 120 km/h. I cruise mainly at 80-85 km/h nia. Most guys here cruise at 90-100 km/h.

for me, my motto is "slow rider, live longer"...(just that haven get the sticker yet. ) so always keep to the speed limit. most of the time at 80km/h. 90km/h at time.

thanks for all the inputs guys, really appreciate it. checked with the race werks thread, they said they do have a hard break-in package for p200, so i'm hoping they'll have one for p180 too.

 

pulsar seems to be a pretty good deal to me, esp with the fc.

 

now just gotta hope the COE goes down, if not wallet will ouch.

Aiya if u've set ur sights on Pulsar, then just buy lah. Even if bike COE goes down, won't be by much. Unlike COEs for other vehicles.

more irritatingly is the IU unit which wil scream madlessly once I passed the 90km/h mark.

 

Think UM Jacky has a simple solution for that.

Saw him taped a strip of those those thick black strong double-sided adhesive tape between the cover and unit for a UG2 that has screaming vibration from the IU at high rev.

The adhesive side is taped on the unit. The other side that contact the cover was not peeled.

After he did that, no vibration sound was heard at high rev.
