Saturday I got YOG archery road show at Simei just opposite of the MRT station from 8am - 4pm ... those who have nothin to do on sat .. can visit me there and have a shot to feel the YOG atmosphere hhhehehehe

 

 

And for you guys/gal going JB ... no more ron 95 at jb ... they have implemented the new rules even before 1 Aug ...

 

I just went in wif my wife... and here's the catch ....

 

1. pay first at the counter the amount you want to pump

2. go back to your bike station fill up your tank.

3. any refund or need to top up more fuel .. go back to the counter.

 

min ron 97 ... price is RM $2.10 per liter.

 

So guys/gal .. ride safe and be cool there... hehehehe

HVC, my bike had reached reserve 2 days ago and I had already ridden about 60 kms on reserve. Then I thought better not to take risk and filled 1.1 Ltrs in Tampines. Next time I will always make sure that my bike has atleast 2 ltrs before going to JB.

 

MJ, I too went in yesterday around 6:30 PM, to the shell immediately after immigration. I was allowed to fill RON 95. But the price is now RM 1.85. May be they will apply the rules only on Aug 1.Which bunk did you go to ?

Me I always pump from SPC 95 only, 'cause I get 14% discount. I'm not really keen on putting anything else in my bike for the moment, I don't want to disturb her in her growing process (yes, my bike is growing what !).

But I don't mind going to the station with you guys tomorrow.

 

So so, when and where do we meet ?

Can we say meeting at 9:30 so we have 30min to wait for any late comers ?

I guess is not the main stand break but the side pedal where u step on inorder to put the bike on the mainstand, rite ?

 

In that case, u can wield the thing back... provided u need to add a bracket to secure it .

 

I done that b4... cost me 15RM repair that stand...

 

should not be expensive...weld another triangular shape bracket underneath so tt the downward force is countered

So issit normal, if not a single pump assistant working after midnight and the queue like buying nasi lemak at Changi village or Boon Lay? A notice on every pumper stated "Foreign vehicles are not allowed to pump Ron 95. For Ron 97 and V Pwer no limit".... or it just not my day after all

and some more at their immigration counter in depart and arrival asking for white cards .. stated No more white card finished ... what a stupid and lame answer ... sorry lah me this is my 3rd time go in jb to pump petrol there since 15 years hehehehe

i think they don't have pump attendants on weekdays after midnight. only weekends or fri night then have.

yup, dats normal. in malaysia, all of the pump stations will bar their doors around midnight for security reasons. even ATMs in malaysia will cease operations at midnight and resume back around 5.30-6am.

SINNOB UPDATE ....

 

Good news guys/gal ... SINNOB have received our money and have shipped out the Sprocket Gears .. expecting arrival day .. Monday 1st Aug.

 

To Oren and those who are still not sure of the Gears ...

 

SINNOB Sprocket Gears you purchased comes in a set consist of

1: Front Gear (15T for both P200 and P180)

2: Rear Gear (39T for P200 and 40T for P180)

3: DID Chain Silver plated without O ring ( 520 P200 and 428 P180) .. this are Premium set (Comfort set are normal stock chain without O ring)

 

 

Concerning about the O ring matter, we have discussed this on my previous post on "Chains" ...

Chain without O ring is as good and performed best when you care and maintain by lube s few drops every 300km - 500 km.

Clean and wash when it's too dirty and remove the sands or dirt away.

Non O ring chains increase more acceleration and speed.

Since there are no O rings on it, no need to buy expensive O ring lube.. normal chain lube or EO will do fine.

Since there are no O ring, no need to afraid you might damaged the O ring if you used hard bristle during cleaning or washing.

 

Comparison to 'normal' chain without O ring and Sinnob chain without O ring .. not to worries as Sinnob chain are protected by the Polyurethane Flanges on Sinnob Rear gear.

Sinnob have assured to all customers that their innovative products have been tested and given a 3 months warranty of any form of defects from the Gears and Chain.

Sinnob Gears well maintain and lube regularly lifespan are around 41000km + -

 

In my experienced, when time to install the Gears and Chain and have Sinnob gears performed to it's optimal, you have to very careful when selecting your mechanic to have the Gears and Chain installed. Since the Gears and Chains are new to them, a good mechanic will do his/her job without complaining but will try to figure and learn what this gears can delivered.

 

Sinnob gears alignment is very delicate and need special attention while

Sinnob Chains needs around 7mm - 11mm free play.

 

No matter what your mech says about the gears .. if you focused on the 2 pointers during installation, your Gears will do wonders to your Ride.

 

Sinnob Gears work best if the chains are not using the extension clip, but to avoid complication during the installation , Sinnob decided to have our chain fixed with it.

 

Due to the clip, the Sinnob gears have to be aligned centered cun cun to prevent the clip from hitting the flanges and create a tocking sound when the wheels moved. Minimal touches is ok since after few clicks ride, the friction from the clip will create a space on the flanges and thus making the clip to run smoothly along the gears.

And I have a question about the chain: If I find a non O ring chain can i use it or do I have to use the Sinnob one ? Because I want a gold chain, and I think I'd better install the new sprocket with the chain I'm going to use. And maybe I can sell the sinnob chain I'm not using or keep it in case one day I have a chain problem. What do you think ?
