Dear all,

 

I have decided to let go my side boxes, got it at $140 with the bracket, letting go at 98dollars, those who are interested can arrange a day to view my side box or go straight down to UM to install. Installation chargers are bond to the buyer.

 

Coocase box and rack will be letting go early next month latest third week of next month, the whole set will be sold at 400dollars for interested buyers.

 

Will keep my Pulsar nake by then. Pls feel free to contact me or PM Thank you

just came back from UM after i realise there is still a bit of leak from under my bike

met a P200 rider there who went to Unique Motors to do his hazard light

they installed a switch and he has to on the switch and switch his signal to either left or right then the hazard will come on

also after he did that his auto cancellation was disabled

he also did his side boxes at seng motor for $220(including box and installation)

i invited him to come to our thread to share and also to the upcoming BTMO

at UM i also thought maybe we can do up a flyer for our group and thread to put at UM for bajaj riders to take to raise awareness

also today ah teck got ask me if there is really a difference in before and after installing the sinnob gears or is it just our mind making up the difference

then i told him about what my gf shared with me about the vibration

he nodded and agreed that the pillion will feel the vibration more cos of their footrest then to vibrate

more

so if pillion also agree on teh vibration lessen a lot then its proven

something to take note when lubing your chain

i lubed my chain a bit too much and the lube now is dripping on the car park floor:cheeky:

also aim properly when you lube, i did not aim too zhun and a bit of the lube kana my rear tire:sian:

ah teck was tell me to be careful when cornering cos of the lube there will be slippery

hey is ah teck the younger skinnier mech that likes to chat? haha if he is then that means he told me juz now my chain spoil liao. dats why always after one revolution got louder chain sound and much more vibration. i'm new in this biking stuff so asking if i have to change both the sprocs front back and chain? if change chain onli i read somewhere and heard from people like the roller wont sit properly in the chain and cause fast wear and tear or something along the lines.

My 2 cents .. check thoroughly which parts, sprockets or chain?

 

Wise to change the whole set unless your chain or sprocket are still in good condition.... and check the rubber damper coupling too ... change to save the labour.

mine is oni at 9.3k. i will have a look at the chain tmr. from wad i remember the chain is hopping like mad even when mainstand and turn the wheel. must be the way i clean the chain that i maybe too rough on the o rings. cos the links are not smooth anymore like u push it up and it stays fixed position and doesnt go back down. can be other reasons oso. dn know. darn it now must change sprocs and chain. our bike can fit wad type of sprocs arhs aside sinnob? or onli oem standard. then chain i go buy any 520 rk did chain can fit amirite no need care the number of links?

Like I stated on my previous post ... we need to understand or know the material used.

One or another will wear faster than the other depend on the material and also how we maintain it.

Either the gears tip wears and becomes sharper or worst chip or the chain slack due to O'ring failure or roller elongation .. what ever it was proper maintenance is a must since day 1 the gears and chain are installed.

 

Check my link .. be it O ring or X ring or even No O ring .. well maintenance will have them last longer. Pls read then slow to understand better.

 

To qoutes from the Legend ..

It contains plenty of synthetic additives that for example, help it withstand the enormous loads that develop during a first-gear burn-out. Did they ever try any friction-reducing additives in the chain's lubricant? Friction is not the issue, Longoni says, the lubricant's film strength is what keeps the metal from touching and wearing. The moment it is not there, wear escalates.

Mr. Longoni also has plenty of tips for proper chain care.

Regarding the 520 with no of links on Pulsar UG4 I'm not very sure ... but for P200 links, Sinnob have 106 and I have to remove 1 pc to fit on my Ride where others using Sinnob need not have to ... just my share

 

Sinnob are just an additional option for one to have a Colorful Gears with the price of the Original or Stock? Performance wise I believe are individuals but so far I received feed backs thumbs up

these are nice read even though they may be lenghty. is it wrong to guess since ug4 and p200 wheelbase the same, i guess we'll be using 105-106 links. think just getting a simple heavy duty chain can serve my purpose. will be going ns very soon so wont be touching my bike that much at all. anyway thanks mjbs, very much appreciate ur help =)

Guys,just got into an accident at CTE(SLE).I bang head on to a Nissan Murano. My mom was the pillion and thankfully the both of us were okay.She has aches and pain on her knee though coz she fell.

 

I wasnt going very fast(60-70km/hr) on the 2nd lane. I wanted to lane change to 1st lane(extreme right) when I checked my blind spot,looked back and I was 1 second away from hitting the back of the car because he braked hard. I think because a taxi wanted to lane change from 1st to 2nd lane. His car's bumper plate had a few scratches here and there and we agreed on a private settlement.(Is it the right thing to do for a minor accident?)

 

Details of contacts were exchanged and he told me he would call me 2mr to inform me of the charges.Any rough idea?If it is too expensive then if he were to claim me it would be more expensive right? My bike's front fender has scratches,head cracked,handle bar alignment gone.I think my fork alignment is okay but will have to go UM soon to check it out.Im still sticking to aftermarket parts(handlebar,head) because its cheaper and it looks waaaay better.
