what are the rubber damper use for??

 

The rubber coupling damper is one of the important part on your bike to absorb and dampens the vibrations from the rear wheel between the brake drum and the sprocket gears and chain when the bike is on the move especially at high speed. If the rubber coupling has wear off or damage, it can do more harm to the wheel alignment and sprocket gear too. For our bike the rubber material is very soft and can damage easily. Thus here, we brought in the heavy duty aftermarket rubber coupling which material use are from fork lift and heavy vehicle tyre.

Since the price of the stock is around $10, this heavy duty damper range price is almost the same but the pros is that it will last much longer than your stock.

To others who own the rear hugger and front fender > .... kindly collect your stuffs asap hehehehe ...

Btw you need to bring elastic hook or elastic netting to carry back.

If 1 item only, then a helmet sling bag should be ok to put in your either hugger or fender.

Anyone interested to install Fork Brace? I'm trying to get 1 in Indon which specially cutom made for Pulsar. Price still waiting for reply from them.

hahaha. today went to UM at morning 9am. saw both eliminator and speed addict. haha. eliminator is ok still can walk and push his own bike over by himself!! lol. sneaky fellow. hahaha.

i changed EO only la. den i paste stickers liao. haha. speed i really went to put "READY" & "FIGHT" and the wolverine on my tank. haha. and some other small stickers saying caution babes on board and stuff. LOL!

 

fab.. ur stickers the condensation will slowly disappear one.. no worries.. hehe.. if not.. can always paste urself again.. hahha.. or go bk tell them.. did u do at juzzwheelz? if so, approach lenny tell him abt it.. he shld b able to help.. been a great help to me..

what size you using for this sprocket? 39?

 

mine is p180. wonder if i change to sinnob 15:40, will i able to lower the rpm at 90km/hr?? currently my 90km/hr is 8k rpm which i find too stress for the poor bike. As i travel long distance at expressway i can give pick-up away a bit to compensate for top speed. Anyone know for p180, after changing sinnnob 15:40, what are the rpm at 90km/hr?? thanks bro...

 

from your current RPM seems you are on the stock sproc size

changing sproc size does help in the rpm

sproc size @ 14:39 rpm for 90km/h shld be ard 7k+

this is the normal sproc change at UM

sinnob @ 15:40 rpm range also about the same with the vibration lessen a lot and more quiet

once met a P200 rider at UM he changed his sproc size to 14:36 for long distance riding

but if pillion or with heavy load at the back your bike will suffer

need some advice from the gurus here !!

 

am considering getting a 2nd hand pulsar....but then realise there is 180 and 200 version..

 

1) whats the diff other than the 20cc version ?

2) whats the fc like between the 2 version ?

3) what about the EO change and maintance ?

4) whats the price of a brand new one now ?

5) should i just choose my choice from universal motor ?

Guys, does anyone have any pictures of a well-lubed chain vs. a non-well-lubed(!) chain? I lubed my chain for the first time today, and not sure whether I did it properly. Scared might have done more harm than maintenance.

1. Cleaned the chain with some cleaning agent, toothbrush and cloth

2. Half-Pressed the nozzle of the can and run through 2 rotations. The nozzle was pointing on the inside of the ring plates.

Any signs to indicate that the lube is enough, or needs more?

1st of all there is no gurus here:cheeky:

1) you can read on the 1st page some of the different versions of pulsars

difference of P200 from P180 is oil cooled(P200) vs air cooled(P180), no kick start(P200) vs P180 UG3(P180 UG4 also don't have kick start), sensors - low oil lvl,air filter,batt low,1 more i can't rmb wat is it:sian:(P200) vs no sensors(P180), outlook diff(P200 vs P180 UG1,UG2,UG3) P180 UG4 outlook almost the same as P200 except the exhaust

 

2) the fc between the 2 models is about the same. like discussed before the fc varies from 34-60km/l depending on riding style,loading etc

 

3) EO change P180 is every 2000-2500km,P200 every 4000km?(P200 riders can confirm this?)

maintainance wise is like any bike

just make sure you take care to change EO on the stated mileage. there are the normal wear and tear in the parts. P200 uses 1.2L & P180 1L of EO.

 

4) there is stock for P180 UG4 now at UM but not sure of the price. for P200 new w/o insurance is $5.9K+

recommend not to pump V power for our bikes

too high octane will cause the diaphragm to soften faster

my fren says exhaust wrap contains the heat in the pipe... doesnt tt make heating problem worst?
