front or rear tires?

go to my signature got a few options

can op to change to duro or irc tires at UM

price wise is still reasonable with the correct size

can do your change at AGL also

michelin pilot or dunlop tires also can be used but more ex than duro and irc

i intend to change only the front, but its 95 at UM for battlax, so im looking at cheaper option.

where is AGL? and u were saying signature?

Pulsar 135 has a smaller fuel tank 12L I guess compared to P180 19L so with P180 you will feel it more worth to travel up north for fuel top up and hence will be more cost savings. P135 is 13.5 BHP while P180 is 17 BHP so I would imagine that P135 would be significantly under powered or it will have a gear ratio that would be provide good power at low RPMs but the high end may be rough and even if you change the gear ratio for cruisability you might lose a lot of pick up at the low end. Also since you say that you are going to pillion and cruising speed is important for you, I would think P180 would be more suitable.

In India people ride at mostly in city conditions at below 60 KMPH and hence biker makers dont really care about the constant high speed performance. Thats once thing you will have to check about P135.

Hehe P135 on paper its 8L. Not sure how much it can pump. Hmm maybe i will see again. Cause i not looking at constant high speed performance like >70. What i meant was sometimes >70 with pillion but most of the time

If u encounter traffic lights often, den the 135LS is suitable for u. from my point of view, the LS is best ride In Indonesia, Thailand or philiphines as the roads are very well suited for the bike. If u do ride the LS on the highway, best u keep to ur far left lane.

i didnt ask y. i guess its due to the workmanship of d bike. maybe they only concentrate quality more on local market. who knows.

btw, Anyone one knows where I can get a complete map of Thailand? No, im not using a gps.

I had changed to Dunlop TT900 front cost 50$ and rear cost 75$. Pls note that Dunlop TT900 has 2 version made in Thailand and made in Japan. The cost I mentioned is Thailand one and Japan is more expensive.I changed at a shop behind Tampines Safra. That time I was not familiar about going to JB. But later I read that same Dunlop TT900 is much cheaper in JB like 120RM for the rear tire I guess. You can try at Lim Ah Boy as well confirm cheapest prices in SG :thumb:

can't be lah .. normally global market is more focused on the workmanship than local market reason why the price is lower than international market one..

similar with proton there are slight different in terms of quality! my adopted brother ever bought proton here and when he drove back to malaysia, he make comparison with his brother there driving same model and notice his proton much superior than his brother in malaysia in terms of interior finishing and quality...

but all said maybe in India different lah kekekekeke ... revhappy any comment? hehehehe

Probably he had the 1st version of pulsar in India. The first version was non - dtsi with single spark plug and exhaust note of the bike was more sweeter and manly than the current dtsi which are too refined. But power wise no comparison b/w P150 and P200 P200 is definitely more faster. FC wise P150 gives 60 kmph so may be thats another factor as Indians are always FC conscious.
