well.. the mech cleaned carburetor, changed disphgram i think, the silencer crack was welded, charged battery, top up front fork oil, eo spark plug break pads change.. need to observe the machine for a while for other problems.. hope nothing major..

 

when i rode it y'day i had this feeling in my mind that the bike is going break down.. lol..

btw whats the idle rpm? mine was between 1k-1.5k.. but it sounded as if the enginer going to die off.. so my friend helped me increase a lil between 1.5k-1.8k rpm.. is that alright?

 

starting up ard 1.1-1.2, warmed up 1.2-1.5. anything above 1.5 imo is waste of fuel, ur engine shouldn't die off with rpm above 1.

 

i think u're feeling ur engine a bit soft as compared last time, since u mention ur silencer was welded. if it's not dying off n the beats are constant, u have nothing to worry about.

Hi MJ! thank alot for the quoting the price..

if i'm not wrong previous owner has already changed the stock sprocket to a smaller one.. but I'm unable to verify cuz the chain guard is on.. may be need to remove and see... I am able to hit 80-90km/h 6.5k-7.5k rpm..

i'm not sure what size to buy for the sinnob sprocket... to go stock size or not..

besides my mind says to wait a while till the chain wears out.. but then it will be too late to get it when i need to replace...

 

yes your sprocs is smaller size...

for sinnob the size for 180 got 2 but we take the 15:40...

If the UM mechs haven't noticed anything unusual then, you dont have to worry. Just ride normally and keep a watch on the EO level every week just to make sure the oil level is not dropping. If oil level is fine then your engine is perfect. And you got a awesome deal, 2 year old pulsar for 2.2k is like throwaway price

it's perfectly fine if u're ok with it, it's only my opinion, but ultimately up to individual. if u hit highway often, dont think high idle rpm will affect much.

 

yes, u just twist the screw under the left side of ur tank.

 

initially when i got my bike i also feel the engine a bit weak. had a friend who tried on my bike, he also mention my engine on slient mode. so i think it's ok.

yeh the price looks good now cuz the bike running.. but trust me! when i went for viewing i had 2nd thoughts of getting it for that price.. parked almost a year.. leak under neath the engine.. still a lil bit of petrol in the tank, dusty and dirty.. and cannot start... so it is hard to offer a market price for bike u see in that condition.. all this cuz the owner is driving... but shud mention that the owner is a nice guy to deal with

yup:) i took possession of the damper, box and sprocks fora very very very cheap price tks to him.

i bought brembo 16mm master cyclinder cliper and hel hose too

and uncle mj help me with the protec coils

hmmm previously kira had that in the tank but not sure he sold them away during his dekit sales ... if he did not sold them away then I think there are 4 balls in your fuel tank already.

 

I've that 'poison' also in my bike tank but seriously how effective or how good on my bike .. seriously I do not know or feel.... I just simply threw them in when I first bought from cookie and let it be till now hehehehhe .. as long as it does'nt harm my bike, the broquets will be at rest there beneath the deep fuel for last like evil Megatron in the deep ocean like in Transformer 1 kekekekeke ....

You know how there's a big space between the rear wheel and the tail of our bike? I wanna stick a pouch beneath the tail using mounting tape so I can slot a set of raincoat in. Shouldn't be too obvious if positioned above the hugger. But then now I need the hugger to prevent too much water and dirt from splashing onto the pouch.
