agree... signal not available in MSIA cars.. read the fine print when buy car in msia k.. *vehicle does not come fitted with signal lights. signal lights available at an additional costs*

personally i find that the bike cannot cruise comfortably at 90km/hr even with 15/37 sprockets due to Very strong vibration.

Brakes not effective enough. Feels vulnerable on the road.

 

i'm torn between upgrading to a Class 2, or to mod this bike to tackle the problems i've mentioned.

 

I wonder if there's any effective mods to improve the low end torque, to compliment my gear ratio change to a 15/30 sprocket to keep engine RPM below 5.5k at all times.

actually he didnt' check blind spot n cut out, as he cut he saw u n brake (hesistated). his hand was actually appologizing, but sticking out the whole time (maybe his hand too long, no place to put, lol).

you are currently on 15/37?

what is the expeced results that you r looking for...

then maybe from there we can advise you if it is advisable to do in SG...

in indo everything is do-able...

for a start do consider sinnob sprocs...for 180 UG3 the size is 14/40 if i nv rmb wrong(uncle mj correct?)...

will have balanced for your top and low end...sad to say cannot be at 5.5k if use sinnob...will be abt 6-6.5k at 80km/h...with sinnob your vibration will be reduced...

next is protec coils...to improve your ignition... can also do like 1 of our guys here do open pod from bro cookie monster...but need to take out your airbox...

don't worry bro cookie will know what to do...

My Pulsar 180 UG2 has 15/38 and I can cruise comfortably at 90-100 at 7-7.5k RPM. No vibrations at all. So what you are describing is not the generic problem with pulsar. May be its the condition of your specific bike/engine that is causing the vibrations.

 

Which EO do you use. Try Fully Synthetic Motul/Maxima or any branded 50 grade EO and see if there is any difference or may be just the engine or chain/sprocket condition has gone bad. No need for performance mods.

 

 

Also I dont think 15/30 is practically possble. you are just going to strain the engine and kill it!

Hi there, as mention by the others, sinnob spocket really improves ur ride and it last 41,000km, protec coil for better power tramission and slightly faster respond, bembro RCS 16 brake & pump system with steel brake hose definately increase the braking system by 50%, FS EO is recommended since its only 1 bottle y not pampered her. Protec air filter for better and smoother air intake. All these should fit your requirement, afterall this is a bike to cruise from point A to B, ride slowly and your ride will be a smooth 1. Hope it helps.

bro .. to be honest with you .. we can't do much with this bike!

 

This bike are meant for transport used in terms of superior mileage only. But nevertheless in terms of its performance, if taken well care and have a good riding habit, this bike works just fine even without any modification.

 

To have a little boost here basically we do change and play around with few list of items ... but results varies on individuals bike

 

1: Tyre .. opt for sligtly bigger circumference but stock good enough only quite slippery on wet surface espaecially mscp http://www.gearingcommander.com/

 

2: Sprocket ... 14/42 or 14/44 stock .. change to 15 front and smaller teeth at rear .. here to guide along http://www.gearingcommander.com/

 

alternative here some of us opt for Sinnob 15/40 will do fine http://www.sinnob.com/about.php google for translation in eng

 

3: spark plug ... NGK plugs either CR9 or CR8 series can do http://www.ngkntk.in/two_wheelers.php

4: Protec coils V3 for both spark plugs or Yamaha YZ 125 on left and Protec on right

5: Volt stabilisers .. tdk, 9power, exr booster, pivot spark booster and etc

6: CDI .. cheetah power, brt, rextor, piggy back, etc ..

7: Exhaust .. NO legal one so either plugged off the tec box, free flow the silencer .. or just be it

8: EO .. FS many in the markets

9: Fuel additives .. broquet, nano balls, eco green, tora2 .. etc

10: Engine treatment .. ows, power up, xado . etc
