yeah bro the internal was modded was thinking of getting the same cobra pipe as yours from e-bay, i know its a risk buying cobra pipes in singapore but maybe i can try to add more packing so it wont sound so loud. Anyway i still got my original pipe with me.

 

I installed baffles on the cobra and its still frekking loud.

 

You can do what I did. I opened the original canister of the stock pipe.

I removed everything inside and replaced it with a pair of straight tubes.

I added insulation then returned the canister back. I looks like a stock

pipe on the outside. The sound is a low grunt, slightly higher than a stock

sound. But its got more torque on take-off without losing the top end power.

Btw, I had to rejet to get max power with good fuel efficiency. No backfire on the deceleration too.

I wrapped insulation around the tubes so it wont get hot.

Then I returned the original outter cover so it looks like stock.

IMHO, a combination of matt and gloss black would be better.

Is your tank emblem an original? Haven't seen one of those but I like it.

 

The emblem is original and was first introduce around 2004 if I remember correctly.

This could be the replacement emblem for the new Shadow line since they discontinued the ACE American Classic Edition series around that year? :cry:

bro jtzx, i bought this 3 years old babe for 8k. I saw the condition is like mint, and it's the newer model, so i bought it. At first was offered at 9k. but i managed to slash off 1k. :)

 

Bro one headlight, I had also ordered kuryakyn grip and 1 throttle boss from cruisercustomize, excited :D

intending to change the radiator cover to chrome too..any idea any local shop sells it? buying online will be my last resort cuz i dun like the waiting time and shipping cost. :)

We have that cool chrome grill available here but it might be a bit expensive (US$200) without shipping charges. I got mine 2nd hand from a display bike used in an exhibit for just US$30. I also got the cobra floorboards (US$60) and the slashcut pipes (US$90) from the same bike.

 

I suggest you ask around first. Maybe place an ad in the SBF classified forum? You might get lucky like me.

check out daredreamer.sg bro... n under custom bikes, click on chopper stylist parts... :) they got some shadow n steed stuff... :)
